It\u2019s accessible and offers a very high quality cottage holiday, immaculate inside and out.<\/p>\n<p>Cherry Garth is located in the 17th century village of Hartsop. Ideal for holidaymakers and cyclists wanting peace and tranquillity. Surrounded by beautiful green fields, tress and steep peaks \u2013 you\u2019ll be in very good company.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a great cycling public bridleway straight from the village. It leads to Hayeswater Reservoir and up onto the 800m High Street ridge. Hartsop also has a trail running north, towards the Boredale Valley, which runs into Ullswater\u2019s quiet eastern shore. You\u2019ll find GoApe here too for a different kind of adrenalin rush. Ambleside to Langdale is a popular cycling\u00a0route, starting from the centre of Ambleside.\u00a0Grizedale Forest is popular with mountain bikers, and this 21 miles loop takes you from Ambleside to parts of Grizedale, into Hawkshead and back via Wray Castle on the shore of Lake Windermere. Nearby Tarn Hows is great for easy off-road cycling for families. Soon to end up as local special gin and jams, sold along the country lanes.<\/p>\n<p>A delightful network of tiny lanes are best enjoyed on bike. You can ride through the countryside, taking in the sights, smells and sounds. Stop off at the several superb gastro pubs dotted around the Lyth Valley.<\/p>\n<p>Little Orchard is a very spacious property with 2 en-suite shower rooms, garage for gear storage as well as cloakroom and great garden with beautiful views.
