The Eyrie is a beautiful end-terrace, large, luxury apartment sitting in the centre of lively Keswick, Cumbria. This three-storey apartment offers spectacular views of the mountain ranges surrounding the town, whilst being within a short stroll of local amenities, making it the ideal accommodation for friends and families alike. Whether it be for a week, a long weekend or something last minute, The Eyrie will surpass all expectations. Upon entering The Eyrie, there is a welcoming space to shed coats, boots and any worries of the day, before making your way up the Victorian feature staircase. Arriving at the first floor, you can make yourself at home in the sitting room and take a seat in the stunning bay window overlooking the bustling high street, with views out to Walla Crag. Alternatively, unwind even further with a snuggle on the sofa, in front of the wood burning stove. whilst watching your favourite movie on the large Smart TV. Thoughts may at some point may turn to dinner: – The Eyrie has a stylish and well-equipped kitchen, home to all the appliances you need to whip up a delicious meal for your loved ones, including a double oven and a handy dishwasher to help with the cleaning up. The Eyrie being centrally located in Keswick does not provide off street parking, however, included in the package is a digital parking permit, featuring close proximity parking for two vehicles, further along the street. Moreover, for guests with pets in mind, the Eyrie is positioned across the road from Fitz Park, where dog owners will be able to indulge in extra walkies if needed, after a day spent exploring the fells! When staying at the Eyrie you are at the heart of the popular Lakeside Town of Keswick, with shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as within stepping distance of numerous extraordinary countryside walks. Within the vicinity you will find many areas of interest, both historically and for nature lovers. Bassenthwaite lies to the north, where you will find the popular Lake Nature Reserve, providing walks with incredible views of Lakeland landscapes, followed by the possibilities of a pub lunch and a stroll around the quaint village. Ullswater is another nearby attraction surrounded by mountains, where you can enjoy a lake cruise, hire a boat or take a guided walk. The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater.
