“A great week, our fourth trip and most certainly not our last!”

We love the property itself as well as the location and can’t wait to return. It is an ideal place for families and couples alike and four legged friends are well served too. Thank you another wonderful week.

Keswick, Cockermouth and Carlisle are all within 15 miles providing some great day trips out and several great pubs are only a short drive away including the Castle Inn which has an excellent reputation for great food. Scalegill is located at the end of a private farm track and is built on a north south direction as with all traditional longhouses meaning you can enjoy the sun all day and catch some incredible sunsets from the garden. The property has been thoughtfully re-developed and has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, the space had been very well utilised and offers excellent social space for friends and families. From the kitchen you enter the luxurious lounge with is ideal for socialising in the evening over dinner or relax on the leather suite set in front of an enormous log burner and smart TV. The lounge leads onto a lovely conservatory / sun room which would be a lovely spot for a morning coffee with the weekend papers or a good book. The boot room offers plenty of space for boots, coats, outdoor gear and secure storage for bikes and a handy utility area is equipped with sink and washer/drier. There are three bedrooms to choose from. On the first floor there is a bright and airy suite with comfortable king size bed, dressing room and smart shower room.
