“I have stayed at Annie's view before and enjoyed it there just as much as last time.”
The property was immaculate and fabulous.
The property was immaculate and fabulous. The fridge may require looking at as if the setting was on 2 the freezer would defrost however if on 3 or higher goods at the top and back of the fridge would start to and actually freeze.- Claire, May 2022
“Delightful cosy little cottage in a great location”- Gail, April 2022
“The apartment is very small and it is quite surprising how small once you get in.”
The apartment was clean and had everything you need for a week's stay. The bed is very soft and uncomfortable. The main problem we had was that we had booked the apartment as it had wifi which I need for work but unfortunately, we had no internet for 6 out of 7 days. I received no update after two days. It was most inconvenient.- Kerry, October 2021
We expect that prior to booking a stay at Annie's View, guests have checked the website to ensure that the accommodation and facilities meet their requirements. For example the photographs on the website clearly demonstrate the size and extent of the flat and the description states that although WIFI is provided, a connection cannot always be guaranteed. Lakelovers also states that telephone and internet connections in some rural areas can sometimes be poor. The WIFI is set up and shared with a nearby property and when Lakelovers were informed of the issue they visited the property to assist the guest. Once it was established that they could not resolve the matter, the network provider was informed. They were however unable to resolve the issue remotely but on visiting the site, WIFI became available a couple of days later. The one bed in the flat has a Memory Foam mattress . Specific guest preferences for hard and soft mattresses cannot therefore be accommodated. Property Owner
“The only problem we had was the boiler packed in so we had to wait in a day which I was not happy about.”
We are still waiting word of yourselves to see what's happening about it thanks Sharon- Sharon, August 2021
Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate when things go wrong and require attention. In guest information provided we do ask that any problems are reported directly to Lakelovers so we can liaise with any tradesperson and organise access so that there is minimal disruption to guests. Lakelovers were not aware that guests had made direct contact with a plumber so were not able to assist with access arrangements. Since this feedback the property has had a new boiler installed so we hope no future issues with the boiler will occur. Property Owner
“Nice location for walks around Bowness, located on a quiet but steep road.”
Car Park tight for those with a large car. Kitchen exceptionally clean. Close to local Pub and plenty of restaurants.- Andrew, August 2021
“The car parking is very tight which should be pointed out.”
The bed linen though clean was stained. The bed mattress was uneven and needs replacement. However all in all we were delighted with our stay.- Ian, June 2021
Thank you for taking the time to feedback following your stay. The car parking space does accommodate large vehicles e.g. Land Rover Discovery . The bed has a memory foam mattress and does not require replacement. Being a one bedroom flat ,specific guest preferences for hard or soft mattresses cannot therefore be accommodated. Regarding the linen, the property is on hire linen so we will have to investigate this with our hire linen company, we do apologise if this was stained. Kind regards, Property Owner
