Steven “The property was very comfortable, clean and tidy.”
It is situated in a great part of Bowness very close to great restaurants and bars. Our favourite was the cinema, it was like going back to the 70's (in a good way of course). We always book through Sykes, you know exactly what the accommodation is going to be like.

Lynn “This is an ideal apartment for two.”
Although compact it still provides all the facilities that you need for an enjoyable holiday. Extremely comfortable and in an excellent location, within a walk to Bowness centre.
- Lynn, December 2021Thomas “Second time we’ve stayed here and it was as lovely as the first time.”
Very clean property with everything you could want in there. Only things which could be improved are the small sink (Though this could be rectified by moving the shelf above it) and the porch light outside did not switch off and shone in through the night. A facility to turn this off or having the top window above the door covered with a blind would be good.
- Thomas, November 2021Margaret “Flat was lovely and very central.”
But was disappointed with cleanliness of the sink in the shower room, all around the overflow hole was covered with black dirt, I think it should have been cleaned better. Once I saw it the first time I went to use it I washed my hands in the sink in the living room all the time. I suffer from Bronchiolitis and could have picked up many germs from the sink. Hoping this helps for your next visitors.
- Margaret, October 2021Eleanor “The apartment was not as clean as I would have expected, with the previous guests hair found all over the bathroom and bedroom and crumbs all over the kitchen work surface, and a lot of the crockery was dirty.”
Otherwise it was a spacious, comfortable, well located apartment. The bathroom is a little small and the tiny sink means water goes all over the floor but it dries quickly with the under floor heating.
- Eleanor, October 2021Isabel “We throughly enjoy our stay at Stonecliffe and would certainly return!”
The location was great and easy to get to other places! The sink in the bathroom is too small and the shelf above makes it very hard to brush your teeth! A draw for cutlery would be nice and bigger TV’s would of made the apartment more homely. Overall, we loved Partridge at Stonecliffe!
- Isabel, August 2021Suzie “Perfect apartment for two.”
Clean. Great location. Walking distance to the lake, shops and restaurants. Parking space a bonus. Only downside was the sink in the bathroom being to small but used the kitchen sink to wash face. A long mirror would be useful.
- Suzie, August 2021Sheila “We had an excellent stay thank you but as a lot of people have already commented the bathroom sink is too small to get a wash in.”
If the glass shelf above was removed at least you could brush your teeth. Location fabulous and a bonus that there’s off street parking. Thanks again
- Sheila, June 2021Tracy “Fantastic location, close to shops, bars, restaurants and the lake.”
Perfect for couples. Would definitely arrange a return booking.
- Tracy, April 2021Mr Sheppard “As a short break for my wife and me, the property suited our needs, was spotlessly clean on arrival and in a great location.”
