Woody’s is a good size with ample of space in the property. The beds was very comfortable and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The lounge area was comfortable also for a holiday let. I understand why wooden floors would help for maintenance but it made the property lack warmth and comfort. The essential items was good, washer dryer , fridge and cooker that was difficult to use but we got there in the end. What was disappointing was the main shower water is flowing out from behind the shower and filling the tray very quick resulting in standing in water that you have showered from. The shower area was unclean and looked very worn. The small bathroom in the main bedroom was a bath and not a shower and the bath was not welcoming. Both bathrooms was poor and not as expected. There was not book to advise us when the bin collection was , how to use the cooker , how to use the washer and this is basic stuff and also who to contact to report the shower. It also made me anxious that there was no fire exit on the one door in and one door out to the main outdoors, I know there are fire doors but this didn’t feel safe for me personally. Would we stay again NO would we recommend NO

With two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom the property is ideal for couples, friends travelling together or families wanting easy access to the Lake District, to get out and about and enjoy the great outdoors but being conveniently located for the best shopping in the Lake District and great options for eating out and socialising in the evening.== Accommodation in detail Enter Woody's through a shared inner hallway and inner door leading to the private staircase to the property. The landing opens onto the bright lounge with large windows including a large feature bay window that floods the room with light. Relax in the comfortable leather sofas, enjoy a film or catch up on the large smart TV, enjoy relaxing with friends for dinner or a hearty breakfast around the large dining table. The apartment offers a contemporary fitted kitchen with everything you could need to help you enjoy your stay. Recently fitted, the kitchen boasts the usual amenities you could need, including a large fridge freezer with plenty of space for storing shopping, and a modern induction hob with touch controls. The addition of touches like the Tassimo pod coffee machine round off these modern facilities. There are two double bedrooms, one on the first floor, the other on the second floor. The second floor double bedroom has a dual aspect with en-suite facilities including bath and WC. Also on the second floor is a further third bedroom offering twin beds and all this is complemented by a family shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Stroll to the lake shore to hire a row boat or power boat, or take an elegant cruise on one of the Lake Windermere steamers. Windermere Lake Cruises depart regularly to Ambleside and Lakeside; a wonderful way to explore without even using your car. There are numerous excellent restaurants in Bowness village, all within walking distance of Woody's, including champagne bars; contemporary wine bars; traditional pubs; and a range of great British and international cuisine.
