Very popular location but disappointing for the price. Description does not make it clear this property is on a caravan site. Too many irritating items that need attention. Two key safes. One working . Why not remove the one that isn’t. Confusing when you arrive. In the bathroom only one light works. Reading other reviews been like this for months! Loo seat falls down. Shower is an assault course for seniors. No grab handles. No sink or bath plugs work anywhere. Bathroom or kitchen! Generously provide one loo roll. No spares. Light pull is a piece of string. Bed is suitable for Japanese visitors visiting Beatrix Potter sites. Bed very low more like a futon! In summary one to miss!

Step inside, and you'll fall in love with the character features; exposed oak beams, Lakeland slate floors, enchanting picture windows and traditional terraced patio. But you'll also welcome the contemporary creature comforts; sleek fitted kitchen, wall-mounted LCD TV, sumptuous furnishings and a romantic bedroom suite with dressing room and lavish bathroom. This might even be the perfect place for your Lake District honeymoon! == Accommodation in detail Private parking for 1 car. Enter to the stylish living / dining room with original exposed beams, Lakeland slate flagged floor, cosy furnishings and raised LCD TV/DVD. The contemporary kitchen unit is cleverly set-apart but not enclosed, so conversation will continue with the cook! Access from the kitchen area to the sunny shared, terraced patio and garden. Upstairs to the romantic king-size double bedroom, dressing room and luxury bathroom with shower over bath. Location Ings is a small hamlet near Staveley in the Lake District. Ings and Staveley lie between Kendal and Windermere on the famously scenic A591, which leads right into the heart of the Lakes. Windermere village is only 2 miles away, and the A591 continues to Ambleside, historic Grasmere and renowned Lake District walking destinations such as the Langdale Valley. Nearby Staveley is the gateway to the Kentmere Valley, with a thriving community of walkers and cyclists who return year after year to soak up the surroundings. Walking routes in the Kentmere Valley are well worth exploring, and well followed by a pint of Lakeland ale at the Hawkshead Brewery, or an indulgent pub meal at the Eagle & Child (both in Staveley village). Staveley is also home to the Staveley Mill Yard, an eclectic mix of local food producers, craft shops and galleries. To stock up the kitchen, follow the A591 to Windermere and visit the high-end Booths supermarket, just next to Windermere train station. The supermarket stocks top quality Lakeland produce, and all your everyday essentials. Bustling Bowness village and the activity-packed eastern shores of Lake Windermere are only a couple of miles further away, along with the Windermere Golf Club.
