Beckmead, a Victorian mid-terrace house situated in Windermere, Cumbria, is ideal for families looking to spend time together. Spend the day exploring the attractions of The World of Beatrix Potter and the Windermere Jetty Museum; or if the outdoors are more your thing, you can venture on walks along Queen Adelaide's Hil and Orrest Head Viewpoint, both of which showcase the best of Windermere's vistas. Why not spend the day on Lake Windermere, where Miller Ground and Hodge Howe provide wonderful watersports options, and a ferry from Bowness-on-Windermere allows you to cruise over the water to the attractions of Far Sawrey. Visit Ambleside, a town steeped in history, which you can discover at the Ambleside Roman Fort, before exploring the beautiful Stagshaw Gardens or trekking to Stock Ghyll Force or Wansfell Pike.
