“Great comfortable apartment with fantastic views.”

Need non slip mats for both showers. En suite shower, constant drip from unit. Could do with an empty cupboard for food. Parking tight for Vectra

The property

Just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Ambleside Village and situated in an elevated position, Ambleside Heights is a well-appointed first floor apartment that offers fantastic views across Ambleside and south Lakeland. From the balcony, the lounge or the dining table the ever changing view is superb, from Grasmere and Fairfield to the north, the Coniston falls to the south and the Langdales and Loughrigg to the west. Ambleside Heights offers a great retreat for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life whilst still being close to all that Ambleside has to offer. == Accommodation In Detail Finished to a high standard this comfortable apartment has a well equipped kitchen/dinner and the welcoming lounge once again takes full advantage of the views. Three comfortable bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room, are a perfect retreat at the end of the day and are complimented with a luxurious shower room with a large walk in shower. Outside there is a large shared garden with picnic bench and purpose built BBQ structure - please bring your own disposable type as no grill in place. A car can be parked outside the garage door with a second car parking space in the communal parking area. Location Whilst you are not enjoying the view from Ambleside Heights, enjoy the walk to the nearby Stock Ghyll Falls of for those looking for longer walks from the door spend the day exploring the shores of Rydal Water and Grasmere and exploring the delightful village of Grasmere. For those seeking to explore the higher fells the ever popular Fairfield Horseshoe can be accomplished directly from the door, one of Lakeland's most rewarding fell walks. About the location

AMBLESIDE

Windermere 4 miles; Grasmere 4 mile; Keswick 15 miles.

Lying at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away. There is plenty to do here - cruises, boat trips and watersports on Lake Windermere itself and numerous shops, restaurants and pubs in the village to suit all tastes. On the lakeside at Waterhead, the parkland offers lovely views down the lake and a short stretch of beach, whilst a walk in the other direction, following Stock Ghyll through woodland, will bring you to the entrancing waterfall of Stock Ghyll Force. Along with the Lake and the great walking on offer, Ambleside is also famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th century “Bridge House” - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District and now the National Trust Information Centre.

Please note this property has a zip link bed. This will be made as a twin by default. Please contact the call center should you wish it to be a super king.
