What’s on this Bank Holiday weekend?

Cumbria Life Sausage Festival:

Head up to Muncaster castle between 30th April and the 2nd May for a family orientated festival that pulls out all the stops! Not only is there a fantastic array of scrumptious Cumbrian sausages to try; but a local producer’s food court; cookery demonstrations; craft market, and so many awesome, adventurous activities for kids!

Ulverston WalkFest:

Running for ten days, from Saturday 22 April to Monday 1 May; it’s the perfect time of year to get out on the fells! Head out for exciting walks such as The Herb Walk; following the Bardsea Birkrigg circuit, looking at hedgerow herbs, Hosted by a Medical Herbalist; or go map reading in wild country with a professional to show you the ropes. There are so many amazing, informative guided-walks going on over the weekend!

Belfagan Morris day of dance in Keswick:

Watch the historical tradition of Morris dancing in Keswick town centre on Sat 29th April; where groups from all over the country are contributing, and showcasing many different styles and variations on the tradition.

Daffodil Festival:

Sunday is the final day of the Ullswater Steamers daffodil trail. there is  a daffodil trail for you to explore between Aira Force and Glenridding/Pooley Bridge, with prizes to be won along the way.
