The village of Bouth offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with the popular White Hart, just a short walk from the cottage, serving excellent home cooked fare and local ales. On the other side of the village Old Hall Farm offers a farm shop and makes the most delicious homemade dairy ice cream served in their lovely tea room. From here it is easy to explore the Lake District with the popular villages of Coniston, Hawkshead and Grasmere all within easy reach not to mention a myriad of walks and trails in the area.
Accommodation in detail
A little path leads from the parking space, with two steps up to the front door. Stepping into the beautiful lounge /diner, the owners attention to detail is clearly evident. This beautiful room with rough render walls, beam ceiling and feature fireplace, with log burning stove, offers the most wonderful welcome. With comfortable sofa and armchair, TV /DVD with SKY. The cottage kitchen, though modest in size, is well planed and equipped with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The utility room houses the washing machine and tumble drier.
The luxurious ground floor bathroom offers a spa bath with shower over and basin. On the first floor is the wc. The beautifully appointed bedroom is presented with a comfortable king-size bed and complemented by a chic dressing room.
To the front of the cottage there is a lawned cottage garden with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. There is private parking for one car and secure mountain bike storage available. Please note that access to the neighbouring cottage is across the front of the property.

This unspoilt medieval village of Cartmel is situated in a quiet valley in one of England's most outstanding areas of natural beauty on the fringe of the Lake District National Park is only a ten minute drive from the cottage.
