On the other side of the village Old Hall Farm offers a farm shop and makes the most delicious homemade dairy ice cream served in their lovely tea room. From here it is easy to explore the Lake District with the popular villages of Coniston, Hawkshead and Grasmere all within easy reach not to mention a myriad of walks and trails in the area.

A little path leads from the parking space, passed the neighbouring cottage and onto the patio before the front door opens onto the beautiful kitchen/dinner. This well equipped kitchen includes fitted untits with Belfast sink, electric hob and oven and a farmhouse kitchen table with period seating. The spacious utility room is through the kitchen and houses a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The pretty lounge is perfectly presented with whitwashed walls, wooden beam s and comfortable seating arrange around the log burning stove and TV/DVD with Sky.
On the first floor, the welcoming bedroom is furnished with a beautiful king size feature bed and complemented by a luxurious bathroom with double ended free standing bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC.
To the front of the cottage there is a patio garden with garden furniture and BBQ. There is private parking for one car and secure mountain bike storage available.
