2 parking permits provided for parking near to the property on Vicarage Road or Millans Park. Stone steps lead to the front entrance. There is level access without steps at the rear of the property.The lounge is very comfortable and enjoys a sunny outlook to the front of the cottage. There is a dining room and kitchen, well equipped for your needs and this leads out to the rear small courtyard area with bench seating and useful outside WC. Upstairs and on the first floor is one kingsize bedroom and the modern shower room whilst a further twin bedroom sits on the top floor where the views are simply beautiful.
Ambleside is a popular Lake District village, taking a very scenic location on the northern shores of Lake Windermere and surrounded by a dramatic backdrop of Lakeland Fells. It's a superb choice for couples or groups, who'll enjoy being able to explore on foot and sample the very best of Lakeland village life! In Ambleside village centre, you'll find sophisticated shopping and fabulous eating - an array of cafes, restaurants and traditional pubs await, funky shops, 2 famous vegetarian restaurants and even an indoor climbing wall,(open till 10 pm.).

The A591 also leads easily south to Troutbeck Bridge, Windermere and on to Bowness.
