Still only a short drive from shops and restaurants in Windermere village, Lake Windermere itself and the vibrant lake shore communities of Bowness and Ambleside, the Troutbeck Valley is a peaceful haven away from the rush. Spectacular Lakeland fells surround this lush valley; scattered with historic Lakeland houses and pretty woodlands, and blessed the Mortal Man in Troutbeck village, renowned for their excellent food, Cumbrian produce and cosy fireside ambience. Perfect for a special occasion.

Reviews
A real gem of a property in a lovely area. Tastefully decorated with all the modern up to date conveniences but still retaining its cottage charm. The beds are really comfortable, and the stylish soft furnishings made this an excellent place to stay. We will certainly return in the future.Ms Parsons
