Reached by steps from the parking area, this property is spread over two floors. On entering through the front door, on the first floor there is a handy cupboard in the hallway for the storage of boots, coats and walking gear. The modern kitchen is well appointed and finished to a high standard. The hallway leads to the master bedroom which has views to the river, access to the balcony and an ensuite shower room with an adjacent luxurious walk in shower. The single bedroom is bright and cosy, and there is also a shower room.
Upstairs the landing leads to a beautifully furnished reading room with roof lights offering views to the neighbouring fells and guests are welcome to browse the owners' Lakeland Library! The largest of the three bedrooms includes a vaulted ceiling and a large feature window overlooking the river and the nearby woodland. The family bathroom on this floor includes a bath with electric shower over.
A covered veranda, compete with patio furniture runs across the front of the property and is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. The riverside balcony from the lounge offers more privacy and in a lovely place to relax.
