Reviews
We have stayed in Cath's Cottage on numerous occasions over the last few years. It is a lovely house within easy walking distance of all shops, restaurants and bars in Bowness. The main bonus is that we can take our two dogs as many properties only allow one.Mrs Findlay

Great cottage in a great location for local walks. It was nice to be able to wander down the hill into Bowness or up to Windermere and have the choice of at least ten good restaurants in the evening. The Tapas (Bodegas Bar) came out on top.Mr Crook

Cath's cottage is a lovely cottage, especially as it is a "dog friendly" property. I found the location excellent for a leisurely walk into bowness, and my dogs loved their walks down to the lake. It is very handy for buses, and I travelled with my dogs to Ambleside and Grasmere with no problems.K Houghton

The property was located in such a nice place with a good walk for the dogs locally being away from the town, but within easy walking distance was a bonus.Mrs Griffin

This is the third time we have stayed in Cath’s Cottage in the last year. The accommodation is excellent and is located in a quiet area of Bowness, yet only a few minutes walk to Lake Road. We have already recommended the property to friends and also plan to book up soon for 2016.Mrs Findlay
