Crag View is a beautiful family-friendly holiday cottage that sleeps 6 and welcomes dogs. Nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Underbarrow, it is just a quick walk from the delightful Black Labrador pub, renowned for a great menu. Crag View is a short 15 minute drive to Bowness and Kendal. Overlooking the picturesque Lyth Valley, it is also ideal for a walking holiday. There is a magnificent range of local walks to suit all abilities, from a hike over nearby Cunswick Scar (steep in places and well worth the effort) to fun walks with young children, for example the walk over Scout Scar. This is one of the ‘Miles Without Stiles’ walks and is suitable for pushchairs.
Crag View is a cosy cottage at any time of the year. It offers a warming open fire for cosy nights in and the pretty garden is perfect for lazy summer days. Whilst staying here you'll probably be tempted out to one of superb local pubs. Along with the Black Labrador, you will also find some great local inns. The Punch Bowl at Crosthwaite and the Masons Arms at Strawberry Bank are two of the Lake District's finest.
