Entrance door into an entrance hall with cloaks cupboard and with passageway to the bathroom with toilet, sink and bath (with shampoo mixer spray) and the beautiful double bedroom which opens to the rear yard. Upstairs to the spacious open plan living space entering the well equipped kitchen area and moving through to the relaxing lounge area with lovely outlook and vaulted ceiling.
This cottage is ideally located for a peaceful Lake District break, within the attractive hamlet of Crook and only a short drive from the popular attractions at Bowness and Lake Windermere and the shops and attractions of Kendal. Even better, you have a well regarded country pub (The Sun at Crook) a mere 3 minutes walk away.
Crook is pleasantly separate from the more crowded towns and surrounded by views of rolling hills and the Lyth and Winster Valleys. Traditional pubs serving delicious food are dotted throughout this green and pleasant area. Good food, peace and quiet are guaranteed.
Steeped in history and folklore, Crook was once home to the area's mill and industrial workers. There are traditional cottages dating back to the 17th century still stand.
