Approached by a 75 yard pathway on the lower slopes of Loughrigg Fell, this luxury cottage in Clappersgate is well worth the stroll. Gazing out to Lake Windermere and beyond, Ivy Cottage is an enchanting retreat for a couple or family close to the mouth of the Langdale Valley and only a short stroll from Ambleside’s vibrant village centre.
You'll experience all the magic of traditional Lakeland; pretty latch doors, exposed beams and warming woodburning stove - even a scenic window seat. But with pampering as a priority, the owners have gone to town with under-heated solid oak floors, contemporary bathrooms and 'state of the art' TV. A pretty walled garden is perfect for soaking up the lake views, and keen walkers will be glad to find a path leading directly onto Loughrigg Fell. This property is not suitable for babies or toddlers, and due to the pathway access may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.
