We had a wonderful break at Jasmine Cottage - the property is ideal for a family. The cottage is warm and cosy, with the fire and wood burner a particular highlight, whilst being spacious enough. We celebrated my son's second birthday in the cottage so it will always hold special memories for us!Waugh party

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Jasmine Cottage, Bowness. The cottage is an excellent place to stay with children, with books, games and movies provided for rainy days. It is a short walk into Bowness with plenty for families to do, and a short bus ride / drive to other Lake District towns. The cottage provided everything we needed for our stay. A few things would have made the stay even better. There is no wifi in the property (as Lakelovers notes, but it would be bonus to have it) and the basement bedroom can be quite cold. Any queries to Lakelovers during our stay were responded to quickly.Mrs Pagan
