A Parking Permit enables you to park one car on the neighbouring streets and entrance into the open plan living area, with sumptuous furnishings by the wood burning stove; the dining / kitchen, has all you may need and on the ground floor is a cloakroom / 3rd WC / wash basin and from here is access to the patio complete with garden furniture. Upstairs on the first floor is a beautiful king size bedroom with separate and luxurious 4 piece bathroom suite complete with roll top bath and separate monsoon shower facility. On the top floor and where the views are superb are two further bedrooms; one more king size and a twin bedroom with separate luxury shower room.

For evening entertainment, you'll find plenty to suit every taste. Try the popular Fulling Mill restaurant, in a superbly converted saw mill, for a special evening out. Or, take your pick from the two quirky cinemas; Zeffirellis cinema includes a great pizzeria and live jazz bar. Fellinis has an excellent vegetarian restaurant and shows films in a relaxed studio cinema environment. You'll also find a wide range of pubs, serving hearty food and real Lakeland ale - notable for its lake shore setting is the Wateredge Inn. Windermere Lake Cruises depart from Waterhead Pier, just outside Ambleside village centre. The elegant 'steamers' offer regular trips to Bowness and Lakeside - a great way to explore without driving.
