Reviews
This was our first Lakelovers holiday to the Lake District recommended by my sister. We enjoyed visiting different villages and National Trust sites e.g. Sizergh, Wray Castle and Allan Bank. The fish and chips at Vinegar Jones is excellent. Most importantly Middlerigg was very relaxing and peaceful.Belal Patel

We had a lovely, relaxing stay- fantastic views of Lake from bedroom, peace and greenery all around. Middlerigg is spacious , light, comfy and home from home. Super bathrooms and well equipped kitchen, clean and beautifully maintained. Ideal for walking in fells up to Troutbeck or over to Ambleside, or stroll over to Brockhole- great for children, new zipwire. We loved getting back after sunny or rainy day out, sitting outside with glass of wine or cup of tea, enjoying the garden. Plenty of space for wet waterproofs and boots to dry out. Great selection of delis locally, or super choice of pubs, restaurants nearby. Two double beds, a bonus for couples, or nice twin room for children; we can’t wait to come back.Mr Richards
