The garden gate is set in the beech hedge, just across the road from the village primary school and the path to the front door passes through the mature garden which offers privacy with shrubs and borders, a small lawn and a patio area with patio furniture ideal for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
The front door opens to the hallway leading to the welcoming dual aspect lounge with deep sofas, large TV, cosy log burning stove and french doors to the garden. The dining kitchen is a real heart of the home and finished to a very high quality with a central island unit, a range style cooker with electric hob and oven, a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and TV. The oak flooring runs throughout and includes the dining area with large family dining table for six and a further set of french doors open to the garden and patio.
The luxurious, ground floor, king size bedroom further reflects the quality throughout the property with a supetb dressing room with wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with a beautiful feature bath, walk in shower and basin and WC.

To the rear of the property there is a private parking space for one car. The garage can be used for a second car or to store mountain bikes, however guests should note access to the garage is also required by guests staying at the adjacent Osprey Nest to access their laundry facilities.
But a holiday property in Grasmere isn't just a dream for walkers. This historic Lake District village is famed for its connections with the poet William Wordsworth, who lived in the village at Dove Cottage is open to the public as part of the Wordsworth Museum. Artists will enjoy browsing several watercolour galleries in Grasmere, particularly the Heaton Cooper Studio which displays the Cooper family's famous work as well as that of inspired local artists.
The village centre has all the facilities you'll need during your self-catering holiday in the heart of the Lakes. For touring by car or exploring the Lakes, the A591 leads you effortlessly south past Rydal Water to Ambleside on the northern shore of Lake Windermere, or north to Keswick and Derwent Water. Also easily found to your south are the breathtaking Langdale Valley and the Lake District's third largest lake, Coniston.
