This Victorian cottage enjoys a prime central Ambleside location in the heart of the village. It is set in a quiet side lane with amenities just around the corner. Guests can enjoy the local area without a need to use the car on a daily basis. There are great local walks for all ages and abilities, or you can take a stroll to the lake for cruises and boat hire. You can sample excellent places to eat and first-rate cinemas, plus welcoming pubs and a variety of outdoor activities all within walking distance.
Pavement Cottage was once the 'bottling house' of Ambleside's Jackson Brewery. Now, it is transformed into a stylish holiday home spread over 3 floors. The open plan living space is homely, cosy, has an open fire, and is especially inviting after a day's walking on the glorious surrounding fells.
Dining takes place in the open plan kitchen, but you'll also be tempted to stroll out and sample the wide range of eateries close by. Four people will easily spread out and relax here, with 3 bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements and quality accommodation (1 King, 1 Double and 1 Single) please note that the property has a strict maximum occupancy of 4, but you are welcome to use all three bedrooms.

Entrance hall with slate floor. Open plan living room/kitchen with comfortable furnishings, open fire and a useful selection of books, maps and tourist information. The well equipped granite fitted kitchen is off the living area, and leads to a secluded furnished courtyard. Upstairs to the stylish bedrooms; on the first floor is a double bedroom with modern en-suite shower room, single bedroom offering flexible sleeping and family bathroom with shower over bath. Steep stairs lead to the attic king size bedroom.
A parking permit provided allows free parking in one of 4 nearby car parks as well as free parking in 36 SLDC car parks around South Lakeland during your stay. A full list is provided in the cottage.
There is also overnight on-street parking available within a few metres of the cottage. A parking disc must be displayed for this which is also provided in the cottage.
