Pudding Cottage is atmospherically set in the heart of Beatrix Potter’s Lake District with the lovely towns of Ambleside and Windermere within a few minutes’ drive. The cottage is tucked away up a farm road and nestles amongst a group of lakeland stone buildings that formed the original coach house and stables for the 1st Earl of Lonsdale in the late 18th Century.
A stunning lake view location, and a fabulously luxurious and contemporary finish, has previously earned Pudding Cottage the Cumbria Tourist Board Gold Award for Self-Catering Property of the Year. The landscaped communal gardens attract a wide range of wildlife and many a guest has been delighted to spy our resident Jemima Puddle-ducks waiting for breakfast at the back door or Peter Rabbit and friends hopping across the lawns! Inclusive leisure club membership for 5.
