Weather you want to spend lazy days in the comfort of the farm house and all its well thought out facilities, chill in front of a log burner in one of the cozy lounges after a days hiking, it’s an ideal place to stay. We recommend a visit to the local pub, The eagles head, they even provide take out draft beers in a carton! (a new one to us) and the the Lucky Dragon, Chinese takeaway in Ambleside. We can’t thank Vicky, the owner enough for making us feeling welcome from the outset and that we had everything we needed for an enjoyable time. More great memories have been made and we will definitely be back again. Jo and crew, Feb 2024
