Elegant hall and staircase to the lounge, which enjoys fabulous and far reaching views over the Troutbeck Valley. Both double and twin bedroom are also on the first floor, along with the bathroom with shower over bath. A further entrance hall gives access to the enclosed garden and scenic decked terrace, furnished for meals al-fresco.

Spectacular Lakeland fells surround the lush Troutbeck Valley, which is scattered with historic Lakeland houses and pretty woodlands. There's a lovely old church to explore, and the traditional pub. The Mortal Man is within easy reach, serving high class pub meals and locally brewed ale.
There are endless opportunities to take on famous Lake District walking routes beginning on your doorstep such as Wansfell. Or, head over Kirkstone Pass towards Ullswater and you'll pass Brothers Water - one of our favourite spots for a leisurely Sunday stroll.
For exploring further afield, despite the blissfully secluded feel of the Troutbeck Valley, you're never too far from the main linking roads throughout the Lake District.
