A private drive leads to Teal Beck with gated access and ample parking for 3 cars right outside. The front door opens to the hallway with bench seating, that links the living accommodation and from here the imposing staircase leads to the bedrooms on the first and second floor.
To the front of the cottage there is a the sophisticated dining room, ideal for special family gatherings or social evenings with friends and at its centre piece a beautiful feature dining table with matching period side furnishings and a log burning stove. From here a door opens directly into the lounge which has French doors opening onto the garden and patios. Comfortable sofas and armchairs are arranged around the TV and feature fire place with welcoming log burning stove. A lovely place to kick back and relax in front of your favourite TV programme. This is the place to head for with a good book or the weekend papers. A door leads to a heated boot room which can be accessed from the exterior too, ideal for your walking boots and coats.
For those that believe that the kitchen is the heart of the home they are sure not to be disappointed with a family breakfast table with comfortable seating overlooking the garden. A real feature of the kitchen is the range cooker with three electric ovens and a six ring electric hob. Well equipped with microwave, integrated dishwasher, large American style fridge and freezer, washing machine and a first class inventory, the kitchen offers everything you could need to create everything from a hearty breakfast to a celebratory dinner. A USB point can be located in the kitchen too. Also on ground floor there is a handy cloakroom WC.
The first floor landing links two fabulous bedrooms and the house bathroom. Choose from one of the two welcoming rooms, both offering beautiful views. One is a king size bedroom with en-suite shower room and one a twin room, both with TV’s. The house bathroom includes a walk in shower, bath wc and basin. Take the stairs to the final bedroom, presented as a Master king size bedroom with en-suite of shower, wc, basin and TV. Please note this bedroom has limited headroom in places.
Outside the level lawned garden is a delight with patios, garden furniture and barbeque facility, perfect for al-fresco living in the heart of Grasmere, an ideal place for fizz and dinner on a summers evening. Parking is available for up to three cars.

Rising very close to the property is the impressive 'Fairfield Horseshoe' - keen walkers will be spoilt for choice.
But a holiday property in Grasmere isn't just a dream for walkers. This historic Lake District village is famed for its connections with the poet William Wordsworth, who lived in the village at Dove Cottage - now owned by the National Trust and open to the public as part of the Wordsworth Museum. Artists will enjoy browsing several watercolour galleries in Grasmere, particularly the Heaton Cooper Studio which displays the Cooper family's famous work as well as that of inspired local artists.
The village centre has all the facilities you'll need during your self-catering holiday in the heart of the Lakes. For touring by car or exploring the Lakes, the A591 leads you effortlessly south past Rydal Water to Ambleside on the northern shore of Lake Windermere, or north to Keswick and Derwent Water. Also easily found to your south are the breathtaking Langdale Valley and the Lake District's third largest lake, Coniston.
