From the front door, a communal stairway leads to the top floor penthouse suite where the front door opens to a large inner hallway with plenty of space for coats and boots. The hallway leads to a spacious dual aspect lounge with painted beams, vaulted ceiling and large feature windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. Two comfortable sofas are arranged around the feature fireplace with electric flame effect fire and smart TV and sound system. A raised dining table offers the ideal place for a dinner with friends or breakfast with the family.
The spacious kitchen is bright and airy and equipped to a very high standard with everything you could need, with induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and microwave. A generous breakfast bar is the ideal place to relax with a glass of wine so no one feels left out as they prepare dinner!
Returning to the hallway there are two bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom has a fantastic super king bed, fitted wardrobes, TV and views to the countryside. This is complemented with a luxurious ensuite shower room. The second bedroom offers twin beds, is well furnished and, again, has views to the countryside and the river.
Outside there are the well-groomed communal grounds, river waterfalls and gardens to be explored. The property offers a convenient car park with unallocated parking for two cars. There is storage also available for mountain bikes.

Lake Windermere itself and the historic car ferry, which provides easy access to the very heart of the Lakes and offers a delightfully enjoyable route to Sawrey, where Hill Top the former home of Beatrix Potter can be visited is a pleasant 15 minute drive along quiet country lanes. Here you can also enjoy a walk along the shore of the sweeping bay and through lovely parkland at Bowness. Rowing or motor boats may be rented here or steamer rides enjoyed along the beautiful length of the lake. Head up to Ambleside or down to Newby Bridge and Lakeside where you can enjoy a steam train ride or visit the Aquarium of the Lakes.
The Lyth Valley is known for its serene agricultural landscapes, vibrant Spring time damson blossom (and harvest – look out for locally made damson jam and damson gin in the artisan food and farm shops). The area also enjoys the presence of several widely acclaimed Lake District gastropubs including The Lyth Valley Hotel, The Mason's Arms at Strawberry Bank and The Hare and Hounds at Bowland Bridge. Heading to the south you can visit the impressive Sizergh Castle and gardens and the nearby historic 17th century Levens Hall with its famous topiary gardens. The unspoilt Medieval village of Cartmel, is also an easy drive from The Bobbin Loft, offering stunning views of the South Lakeland District fells and countryside. Cartmel has grown up around its famous 12th Century medieval Priory Church, a special place where ancient history and tradition mingle effortlessly with the present day. Around the village square you will discover a delightful assortment of genuine 16th - 18th century buildings, Lakeland inns and unique gift shops.
