A private drive leads to The Haven with gated access and ample parking for 3 cars right outside. Entrance hall stepping onto beautiful tiles leading onto oak flooring; the living room has sumptuous furnishings by the warming woodburner and this room is open to the dining area, perfect for formal gatherings, great food, even better wine and conversation late into the night. From here you can access the very well equipped kitchen which is open to the stunning conservatory, what a great place to relax in and wander out into the private garden.
Upstairs to the first floor and where the views get even better and on this level are two chic bedrooms; one double with luxurious en-suite walk-in monsoon shower room and one twin as well as the luxury house bathroom with designer bath and separate walk-in monsoon shower facility. Upstairs again to the spacious mezzanine double bedroom with star gazing facility - bliss. With the views beginning at home, you'll be tempted to take on such famous Lake District walks as Silver How, Lang How and Helm Crag. Rising very close to the property is the impressive 'Fairfield Horseshoe' - keen walkers will be spoilt for choice.
But a holiday property in Grasmere isn't just a dream for walkers. This historic Lake District village is famed for its connections with the poet William Wordsworth, who lived in the village at Dove Cottage - now owned by the National Trust and open to the public as part of the Wordsworth Museum. Artists will enjoy browsing several watercolour galleries in Grasmere, particularly the Heaton Cooper Studio which displays the Cooper family's famous work as well as that of inspired local artists.
