From 415.00

Set on the first floor, The Viewpoint provides an interesting layout with good quality fittings, cleverly married with a palate of soft, neutral tones and complimenting soft furnishings to provide both comfort and style.
Being just a couple of minutes' walk from this popular tourist hotspot, The Viewpoint is ideal for those who enjoy the convenience and facilities of a village centre location and Ambleside is certainly brimming with an eclectic mix of shops, galleries and cafes as well as a host of activities in whatever season you choose to come and visit.
Of course, you'll find great walking and cycling opportunities right from the door but when our typical Lakeland weather spells for a day indoors, nip along to Ambleside's indoor climbing wall and bouldering room for a slightly different sporting challenge.
Accommodation in detail
Stairs from the entrance hall lead up to the first floor. Two good bedrooms await, a bright double to the right with built in furnishings offering plenty of space for your needs and an airy twin to the right, again with stylish, built in units.
The house bathroom is fully tiled and offers a shower over the bath, handbasin, wc and heated towel rail. The main living space is reached up a couple of steps, an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen areas.
The contemporary dining suite has comfortable seating allowing for leisurely dinners, the area flowing perfectly into the modern, clean-lined kitchen where you will find an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
A chest freezer is available in the hallway, ideal if you're planning to fully self-cater for the week. A digital radio is also on hand, ideal for tuning in to the local weather forecast before you head off out on the fells.
As you step into the lounge area, you're drawn to the feature window with complementing seat, drawing you to take in the bird's eye view of Ambleside, and if you can tear yourself away from the window, two super comfy, deep cushioned sofas sit either side of the TV/DVD.
A car parking permit is available for one vehicle to utilise the plentiful car parks within Ambleside, just a short walk from the property. However, being so close to such great amenities, you may chose to simply park up your vehicle for the majority of your stay and enjoy all that the village has to offer on foot. You may unload your vehicle by the property but then park on one of the nearby car parks with the permit provided.
Ambleside retains an air of Victorian nostalgia with its classic Lake District slate clad buildings, yet it also has a very modern vibe attracting a following from holidaymakers of all ages. Whether you're a shopper, a foodie, a cyclist or a walker, Ambleside really is the place to be.
Of course, no trip to the Lakes would be complete without a cruise on the famous Windermere Lake Steamers which depart regularly from Waterhead but while in Ambleside, you simply must visit the Apple Pie Bakery, next to the Little Bridge House for a slice of their famous sweet treats to fuel you before you head out onto the gentle slopes of Loughrigg Fell and admire this beautiful scenic village from a whole new perspective.
