Arrive at this traditional Lake District cottage, right at the heart of Windermere village, and you’ll be surprised by the sophistication within. Spread over three floors, Tizzie Whizie Cottage is decadent yet relaxed; finished with natural colours, plumped up with leather furnishings and oozing Lakeland cottage charm.
Two cottage bedrooms, each with a bathroom facility and one complete with roll top bath, perfect for a long soak after a day on the fells - this central cottage serves as a romantic retreat and its intriguing name is allegedly given originally by local Windermere boatmen to a waterside legend which was seen to reside on Belle Isle. This is a vibrant, convenient bolt hole, surrounded by sophisticated village facilities and well-placed for exploring our Lake District National Park.
