From parking the car, the lodge is approached from the raised deck and the front door opens to a hallway. From here the lodge opens to a bright and spacious, open plan lounge, dinning, kitchen area with tall feature windows and French door to the decking. The comfortable sofa and armchairs are arranged around a feature fire place and large screen Smart TV. The quality fitted kitchen features an island unit and includes a wine cooler, dishwasher, fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven and the room is finished with a family dining table. The French doors lead to the large decking area that wraps around the lodge offering comfortable sofa seating to relax and have coffee or a glass of wine or eat alfresco at the outdoor dining table. A lovely way to spend a summers evening!
Windermere Lodge offers two bedrooms, the master bedroom includes a king size bed and is complemented by spacious walk in wardrobe and a smart ensuite shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. The bright and airy second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and fitted furniture the family bathroom is of a high standard and offers a bath with shower over, inset washbasin, fitted storage and WC.
A utility room from the hallway is equipped with a washing machine and tumble drier and outside there is parking for two cars.

To explore further afield, you need only stroll to Bowness Pier. From there, Windermere Lake Cruises depart regularly to Ambleside and Lakeside - a scenic route with no need for a car. You can also take the car ferry across Lake Windermere to explore Hawkshead, and visit the former home of Beatrix Potter.
