The accommodation was very comfortable and the bathrooms were as good (if not better!) than any 5 star hotel. Tonia was around with help and advice when needed and left us some locally ...

We did 2 longish (6-7 miles) circular ones, which afforded great views and shorter ones along the River Kent and through woods full of bluebells and wild garlic. The accommodation was very comfortable and the bathrooms were as good (if not better!) than any 5 star hotel. Tonia was around with help and advice when needed and left us some locally brewed beer and delicious biscuits as a welcome gift. I would not hesitate to recommend The Hayloft for anyone wanting a peaceful base from which to explore the South Lakes.
