“A beautiful house in a quiet suburban street in Windermere.”
Easy on street parking (we were able to park right outside almost all of the time we were there), and a short walk to both Windermere and Bowness, as well as to local hills. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and had a range of essentials to start us off e.g milk, handwash, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets. The kitchen was well equiped with good quality pots, pans and utensils for home cooking, and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery. Although it is a terraced house, the walls are thick so it was nice and quiet. The TV has Now TV and Netflix. Both showers had good water flow and stable temperatures, and the beds were comfortable. All in all an excellent base for our Lake District holiday. My 9 year old wants to go back and live there forever!
