The property

The Lookout is a wonderful three-story holiday home in Haverigg, Cumbria, which enjoys amazing sea views. The Lookout has reverse-level accommodation and plenty of off-road parking for a family of four. When you first go into the home, you will be greeted with the ground-floor twin room, which will welcome you and provide much-needed relaxation after a busy day; a shower room is located across the hallway for added convenience. Another bedroom, this one a double, can be found on the second floor of the house, with lovely furnishings and access to an en-suite shower room with views of Black Combe. Make your way to the first floor in the morning to find an open-plan living room with plenty of style and relax in front of the TV while the group's chef prepares a delicious breakfast in the kitchen. The kitchen is not just contemporary, but it also has a good assortment of appliances, such as an electric cooker, washing machine and dishwasher. When a delectable breakfast is prepared, sit down at the large breakfast bar to enjoy it while planning your day's activities. One of the property's wonderful areas for unwinding and soaking in those panoramic, sea views is a balcony off the open-plan living space, while the other is a second-floor sunroom with seating positioned in front of a letterbox window. Make your way down to the ground level and out to the private front patio if you wish to enjoy some outdoor dining. The house is in a superb position, with all of your facilities just a short walk away, including The Harbour Hotel and The Ski Bar; the village also has a magnificent beach where you can enjoy sunbathing and watersports, as well as access to the stunning RSPB reserve of Hodbarrow. Millom, a little further out, has another beautiful beach, as well as the intriguing Millom Heritage & Arts Centre and the ruins of the Millom Old Pier that are waiting to be explored. Travel inland to the Lake District National Park, where you'll find a plethora of outdoor activities, like partaking in watersports at Coniston Water, hiking up Scafell Pike, and cycling through Grizedale Forest Park, among others. From the local towns of Ulverston and Dalton-in-Furness to the natural marvels of the Sandscale Haws National Nature Reserve and the Arnside & Silverdale AONB, there's much to see and do in the surrounding area. At The Lookout, there's so much fun to be had!
