There was no hiding the Christmas spirit at the Lakelovers office in Windermere today as staff received hampers of the ‘world’s most delectable treats’ from the purveyors of luxury and style, Fortnum & Mason.
The luxury gifts are a “huge thanks and wishes for a peaceful, healthy and memorable Christmas”, to all staff from Lakelovers’ proud Chairman, Andrew Shaw and Managing Director, Paul Liddell.
Some words from Paul Liddell;
As Lakelovers approach ’40 years in the making’ we celebrate a record year as the Lake District’s self-catering holiday specialists. Lakelovers continue to become the number one letting agency of choice for luxury, quality holiday properties in the Lake District and we wanted to provide a little something at Christmas for the entire staff in recognition of their hard work, dedication, commitment and continued high standards.”
Quality and prestige are at the heart of London’s Fortnum & Mason. And as specialists of the finest hampers for over 300 years, what better way for Lakelovers, one of the Lake District’s longest standing self catering letting providers, to say a thank you to their fine, impressive staff!
All packed in the timeless wicker picnic basket – complete with leather straps and famous F&M stamp of quality – the lid is lifted revealing a panoply of festive delights: From Louis Roederer Champagne and special Christmas Spiced Tea to sweet treats like Marc de Champagne truffles, Cognac Butter and Vintage preserves.
This is a gift of sparkling treats that turns the luxury levels up on even the finest Lake District picnic. You certainly would be noticed sat enjoying the basket on Ullswater’s Gowbarrow Fell, a former medieval hunting park where picnic hampers would have been a popular sight!
Providing superior service, quality, choice and value in Lake District self catering is what Lakelovers pride ourselves on and achieving this is all down to the “hard work, dedication, commitment and continued high standards of the entire staff at Lakelovers”, say’s Lakelovers Managing Director, Paul Liddell.
A few words of thanks from Lakelovers Chairman, Andrew Shaw.
When you select and continually invest in developing the very best people in the business, it’s reasonable to think that they will do a good job under all circumstances. However, in the case of the recent horrific flooding, power outages, roads and bridges washed away, Lakelovers staff quite simply EXCELLED! Working as a team, they coordinated the needs and expectations of the hundreds of guests staying and on-route to Lakelovers properties, as well as communication with over 450 owners. Quite simply, an outstanding job, which deserved more than just the regular ‘pat on the back’.
