Lake Cruises and booking processes

We have 4 main Lake Cruise experiences in the Lake District; Windermere Lake Cruises, Ullswater Steamers, Keswick Launch & Coniston Launch.

As we emerge from lockdown, they are working hard to welcome you on board, and here’s how things are operating right now in order to maintain social distancing and keep you safe.

Windermere Lake Cruises

Cruises

From Monday 3rd August 2020 Windermere Lake Cruises are re-introducing pier-to-pier services between Lakeside, Bowness and Ambleside. Customers can now book from one pier to another, enjoy a return journey or disembark the vessel and return on a later sailing. All journeys will still need to be booked in advance online and both the departure time and location and the return time and location will need to be booked in advance.

✔️ Social distancing

✔️ Ticketed seating

✔️ Enhanced cleaning

✔️ Online booking only

✔️ Fewer trips so that boats can be cleaned after every trip

✔️ Fewer passengers to observe social distancing, so you more room to enjoy the views

Please observe social distancing, wear your face mask and be kind to others
