First official teaser trailer from Terry Abraham’s new film ‘Life of a Mountain: Blencathra’

This is the first official teaser trailer from Terry Abraham’s eagerly anticipated ‘Life of a Mountain: Blencathra’, ‘A year in the life of the people’s mountain’ released May 2016.

Premiering on 14th May 2016 at The Rheged Centre, near Penrith, 11 miles from the craggy peak of Blencathra, the unique cinematic documentary follows on from the award winning and BBC hit ‘Life of a Mountain: Scafell Pike’, which attracted record BBC4 viewing figures!

We love the rich tapestry of stories told in this documentary, collected over the last year by Terry and set perfectly to the backdrop of impressive videography of Blencathra in all her glories, across the seasons.  A true ‘labour of love’, and one we can’t wait to see!

Is Blencathra a ‘tourists peak’, as suggested in the opening of the trailer?  We wonder what your memories are of the Lake District’s most northerly peak?  How many of you have summited it?
