Family holidays can be stressful, with so much to remember to take with you and so many people to please when you get there.

This year, let us make February half-term in the Lake District a little easier, by letting you know about all the little things that we can do to help and giving you a list of things to do while you are here.

How we can help

If you haven’t already booked your family half-term break, don’t worry as we still have a wonderful selection of February Half Term holiday cottages still available here. Here at Lakelovers, we have a wide range of properties in lots of great locations across the Lakes, that each offer their own unique characteristics. Whether you are travelling with babies and toddlers, or ‘tweens and teens, we can help you find a property that will suit your family; whether you need cots and highchairs or games rooms and games consoles.

Games Rooms and Outdoor Fun

From outdoor tennis courts, inclusive leisure club access and pool tables to Sky HD and Nintendo Wii, older children will be spoiled for choice with some of our larger properties such as The Cottage at Hill Top or High Cleabarrow!

Babysitting Services

If you are travelling with younger children you may be interested in our Babysitting service. We have a list of government registered babysitters that can be arranged on a first come first served basis, allowing you time to spend alone together and enjoy some of the Lake District’s bustling nightlife! If you would like more information about babysitting or if you would like fore us to make arrangements on your behalf, please call our team on 015394 88855 who will be happy to help!

Catering Services

We know that after a busy night, even the most organised of holiday makers are too tired to cook, which is why, we have partnered with the Lakes Catering Company Ltd who offer fantastic home-cooked foods, delivered to your door! You can find out more about the Lakes Catering Co here.

If you would like more information or help in booking a property to suit your needs, please call our expert team on 015394 88855 and we will be happy to assist you in anyway we can!
