We enjoyed our stay here.

Apartment was nicely furnished and decorated and well located in the middle of Keswick. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

1st time at this property very clean, comfortable, well equipped, comfy beds, great location to Keswick town & convention.

Thoughtful touches with wine, biscuits, tea, coffee etc We did have an issue with cooker didn’t work phoned up owner & sykescottages who had to replace with a brand new cooker - all sorted in a couple of days.

We enjoyed staying at Andra Ghyll.

It's location is ideally suited to attending the convention. All other amenities are very also handy; shops, bus station, lake. Good to have somewhere to park the car too. The flat was very comfortable, clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. Owners are very attentive and contactable if necessary.

Location excellent for Keswick Convention and local visiting as do central.

Few issues with bed linen and cutlery provisions were a disappointment and too many interruptions from owners during week.

One of the best properties we have stayed in in Keswick.

We have been visiting Keswick for years. One of our favourite holiday places. Apologies to the gentleman who phoned to ask if every thing was ok as I was speaking to son in law on phone when he rang and I was rather confused and may have sounded very abrupt. Thankyou for the wine and biscuits etc we very much appreciated them. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday Thanks again. Annie.

2years ago and property was still as good owner left a bottle of wine plus tea coffee milk and biscuits for us arriving he also telephoned that night to make sure everything was OK. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to keswick

The property was clean and comfortable and very accessible for the Derwent lake , town center ,bus station with a supurv service .

This is a perfect location for holidays in the Lake district

Fabulous location and lovely inside with all the necessary information clearly communicated.

Thanks for the welcome bottle too! Generally fairly quiet apart from a little road noise in the double room. Our only two suggestions for improvement were a socket for an electric shaver in the bathroom and some hotel-style shower gel/shampoos (I know Booth's is down the road but it would be nice).

We found Andra Ghyll a very comfortable , well equipped apartment , everything you could need , it has a NOW tv with loads of stations , netflix & iplayer ( not that we watched much TV!

) & a washer/dryer . In a perfect situation in the town literally walking distance to everything we didn't touch our car at all during our stay. The only negative I could find is the shower , although a perfectly good shower pressure is just far too low ! We will definitely return !

Once again Sykes holidays did not disappoint.

Ideally located very close to the two major supermarkets in Keswick.

The major advantage is walks from the door, and that the bus station is less than 100 m away!

It's a nice, comfy, cozy apartment and has everything you need.

Very convenient for Keswick centre, the welcome gifts were a lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our stay there the only thing to put us off returning are the steps, we are both Pensioners and my Husband finds stairs very difficult these days, we thought he would be able to manage one floor but he struggled.

It was a great stay.

The accommodation suited our needs perfectly but right in the heart of Keswick.

It is really well maintained and equipped, and is such a comfortable holiday home. There is a lovely welcome from the owner and a lot of care is taken in presenting the flat so nicely. It is ideally situated for the Convention, for the town and shopping, and as a base for touring the wonderful Lakes and for enjoying the mountains and beautiful scenery. An allocated parking space is also very handy. We've now stayed here twice, and have booked already for next summer!

Everything we needed was provided. We had a telephone call from the owners when we arrived then later in the week we had a visit from a lovely helpful couple . The wine ,welcome card and very generous welcome pack was very good . Comfortable apartment . Decorated to a high standard We would love to return in the future . Gerald and Sue .

Beautiful apartment, found the bed a little soft for me but I do prefer a hard bed at home.

Everything yo need in a holiday home, easy access to transport and shopping with plenty eateries around.

The only thing was the top of freezer was iced up and needed defrosting, we could use the bottom draw so it didn't effect us.

The property is in a great location in the centre of Keswick and the parking spot included is a real advantage.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable and has everything that you would need. The only issues are the hot water, which has very low pressure, so takes ages to fill a sink and the shower isn’t great. The other issue is the main bedroom being right near the co op supermarket, so it’s very noisy at about 6.30ish when they are getting deliveries, but I know there’s nothing that an done about that

It was a lovely apartment and close to everything and I would definitely stay there again,my only complaint is about the WiFi it had kids safe on it and we were unable to get to some sites,ie: bet365 my husband does like a bet at weekend and this was blocked and oddly enough it wouldn't let me look up menus in pubs very odd.

but that is my only complaint.

It is so convenient for shops and the town centre and an excellent base for exploring the Lakes. A parking space allocated is a bonus. The Keswick Convention is just up the road too. The apartment was very clean and welcoming with some lovely personal touches from the owner. It was comfortable and had everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable.

Andra Ghyll was a beautiful apartment it was so convenient with co-op nextdoor and must mention the Thai restaurant across the road which served wonderful food and service.

The apartment was also right next to town centre though we got no noise at night even though Thank you for the bottle of wine which was much appreciated. I would certainly return to this property when returning to Keswick

The apartment was in a great location, and was comfortable and well equipped.

The dedicated parking space was a must. The area was quiet, apart from the trolleys being moved about at the supermarket next door, which made sure we never slept in! Only small niggles were the wardrobe in the bedroom (doors awkward to open) and a crack in the bedroom window, but would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and cosy apartment just wish the shower was a bit more powerful and there was somewhere to dry the towels. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed including a cafetière. Very comfortable stay and convenient for visiting Keswick. Thank you for the personal touches on arrival!

and position in Keswick. Lounge was particularly comfortable with excellent TV. . Only disappointment was a plumbing problem in the bathroom with the bath. Water would not drain so only allowed one bath in the 5 days. Otherwise excellent flat . Shame about the weather but would recommend the flat.

Warm and comfortable it had everything we needed for a relaxing week away. I was also pleased that the owner took time to contact us before and during our stay to make sure we were happy with the apartment. The little personal touches made us feel at home.

We stayed Christmas week. The apartment had a lovely christmas tree and crackers. and the owners were lovely, checking we had arrived safely, and leaving complimentary wine and cake for us to enjoy. Our first stay at this property but we will return.

Very clean and lots of extra little touches such as wine and chocolates. Only down side was no dishwasher.

Andra Ghyll holiday Flat in Keswick is in a great location and as described on the website.

...it is literally minutes from pubs and restaurants on the main street. The addition of having a dedicated/private car parking space is a bonus in a very busy town frequented by a lot of holiday makers. All fixtures and fittings in the flat were in good shape and in general a very comfortable place to stay....felt very much like "Home from Home" . I would certainly come back to Keswick and hopefully also stay in Andra Ghyll apartment. Sykes Holiday Cottages, were very professional with good communication throughout right from booking the flat,right through to actual holiday break.

We enjoyed our 5 nights at Andra Ghyll.

The property is well situated for supermarkets, pubs, restaurants & the bus station is only 5 minutes away. The accommodation was spotless & every effort has been made to make you feel at home. The only criticism was the lack of basics i.e. bin liners, washing up liquid, toilet rolls & kitchen foil. We will most likely use this property or similar again.

The fact that we have been using this property since 2017 speaks for itself.

Really enjoyed our stay a lovely cosy apartment Only one small problem.

We found as older people a slight problem with the shower over the bath x We would have felt a lot more secure getting in and out of the shower if there had been a grip bar fitted on the tiled wall . This would have given us a help especially getting in to the shower Otherwise a very smart well decorated home from home

This was a lovely comfortable flat, in an ideal situation for access to the town shops and restaurants.

It was perfect for us as we were attending the Keswick convention and it was a 2mins walk to the venue at the Pencil factory. Lovely welcome bottle of wine and attentive hosts.

An excellent place with everything needed.

We will certainly be using again. Location could not be better, right near the centre of Keswick, supermarkets on the doorstep and main bus hub just across the road. We used a weekly bus rover ticket (excellent value) and didn't use the car once.

Very disappointed with the kitchen very small also the microwave on top of the fridge very difficult to use .

.no small step ladder I could not reach the top shelves…no dishwasher..quite expensive ..also a bit of a pain having to use a code every time to enter..However it was very central ..it was also difficult to find even using the sat nav … another complaint firstly having to visit the office to collect the keys from a one way street with no parking.I expected the key to be at the accommodation also having to return key to office..

Very nice little flat, ideal for 2 or 3 people, with its own parking place.

This property ticked every box for us.

Fabulous central location, parking, cosy, clean, warm, good facilities. Good communication with owners if needed. We experienced 4 seasons in one week so can state that the apartment is really comfortable in all weather. I would recommend this apartment and would definitely book again. (We had just one moan. We are 'shower freaks' and found the electric shower lovely and warm but a bit feeble).

A perfect location too both for the shops /pubs /cafes, and also plenty of great walks from the door without needing to use the car. A welcome card from the owner who also did a check-in phone call to make sure all was ok, a nice gesture.

Really convenient for the centre of Keswick, the shops and beautiful walks from the front door. Great that there is a parking space with the property. Everything you need for a stay is provided- i.e. hairdryer, iron & ironing board, can’t think of anything negative- only slight niggle was the low water pressure in the shower but it wasn’t really a big problem. Would definitely recommend to family and friends, we would love to stay here again.

First impression when we entered the property was that it was incredibly clean and well presented.

Very comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. Excellent location, easy to find with parking as described. Right in the heart of Keswick so walking to shops etc and the lake was great. If I was forced to find a negative it would be the low water pressure so the shower was not powerful but that's no big deal. The true test is "would we stay again?" and the answer to that is "definitely"

The property was modern, clean and tidy, it had everything we needed for a very enjoyable weeks stay in Keswick. The property located at the end of Keswick high street and has its own private parking space. It was just a small walk to the 'ferry launch', which takes people along Derwent lake to access some very nice walking areas (nice not to have to use the car).

The flat is in a perfect location, minutes from the high street, the bus station, supermarkets and restaurants and takeaways but seems isolated from the hustle and bustle of the busy town.

The dedicated parking space is a real bonus in Keswick especially if coming in the busier weeks. It is very well equipped and tastefully decorated in a fresh modern style. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay

The flat is in a fantastic position in order to forget the car and enjoy the village of Keswick.

Moreover, everything in the flat is very convenient and nothing is missing in the kitchen, so we could cook and stay in the flat as in our home. Maybe you could explain more clearly in the welcome e-mail where to park the car, we did not immediately get it and we parked the car in another place ... a lady came and asked us why we were parking in her place.

Comfortable flat, and great location but toilet flushing remains an issue as others have mentioned in their comments.

Only 1 toilet roll provided for a week, would have preferred more - other places we have stayed have provided these. Tried to contact the owner via text twice during our stay with questions re TV and the fire. No response.

Great central location. Just what you need to explore Keswick and the lakes.

The property was ideal for access to the town and Pubs and good parking, good property if you like being in the town centre , it is very well equipped and clean.

Minor downside was it is very dated and needs a little updating especially the pink low level toilet that needs flushing 2 or 3 times at least to clear it, also the lighting in the lounge needs another small lamp or a dimmer switch ,at the moment you have a 5 bulb ceiling fitting very bright or a single table lamp in one corner very dim. But don't let this put you off all in all a good property. Also I was impressed with the booking agent, I Email the agent on Sunday to say only 1 of the 4 bulbs in the kitchen ceiling light bar was working and the internet hub kept dropping out, both were fixed Monday morning.

I have used this company several times and I have booked this property on two ocassions.

Everthing was exactly as it should be, very efficient and easy to work with, would definitly recommend and use again myself.

Ideal situation for theatre, walks, eating out, pubs and shops in Keswick etc.

Some early morning (6.30ish) noise from Co-op store next door but not too intrusive.

Unable to open any windows apart from 1 in the lounge and that would only stay open when jamming something in it.

Had an issue with fan in bathroom but this was rectified during our stay.

The apartment was very comfortable with easy access to the town .

Having a parking space was an additional bonus. Gaining access, key pick up etc was very smooth. We would definitely stay again.

This apartment is a bit run down and could use some TLC, but overall it was just fine.

Also, I think it's very unfortunate that you do not offer any percentage refund, even when the request was made immediately after booking. Just not a very customer-friendly policy.

A stones throw from everything which Keswick has to offer, but in a quiet location, with the all important car parking. Cosy apartment with everything that you need, slightly dated decor/furniture/fittings, but clean with a more modern kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Well situated apartment close to all amenities with a reserved parking space and very comfortable beds.

Kitchen a bit small but has a full-sized fridge/freezer and washing machine which is welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Location is in center of Keswich, very convenient.

Shops and restaurant/pubs close by. Apartment was well appointed with everything needed. Also clean when arrived. Details of key pick up etc. by Sykes was right on. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
