“Hi We have just returned back from a fabulous week at the property.”

I do feel the bathroom could have been abit cleaner as there were dead insects and large cobwebs in the bathroom. This is a third time staying at the garden cottage and feel I would be nice if some repairs could be done with the road leading upto the cottage as there are some rather big pot holes now .

The property

Garden Cottage is a converted one bedroom ground floor apartment located in delightful gardens with views over the town to the fells beyond.

An ideal romantic retreat to enjoy the Lake District at any time of year. Fieldside Grange is located on the outskirts of Keswick on the Castlerigg Stone Circle road accessed by its own private drive way lined with mature trees, shrubs and rhododendrons.

Built circa 1850, Fieldside Grange was once a farmhouse and has been sympathetically renovated and refurbished in recent years to provide four 1 bedroom and six 2 bedroom apartments whilst retaining its original slate and stone building.

Set in its own grounds of 1 and a half acres which offer magnificent views towards Keswick and Derwent Water, there is ample space to enjoy a picnic or for the kids to run around whilst still in sight of the building. The apartments are all individually designed and are centrally heated: Garden Cottage is a lovely ground floor apartment with the benefit of having its very own private garden and patio area to enjoy.
