Holborn Cottage, Blencathra Street

This was a great cottage - the photos didn't really do it justice.

The en-suite bedroom with dressing area was fantastic. The dining-kitchen was well equipped and the utility room spacious with everything you would need. Brilliant location - about 1 minute's walk to either Fitz Park or the town centre.

The cottage is outstanding.

It is so comfortable, well equipped, clean and spacious. The location is perfect for a short, easy walk into the centre of Keswick or to the beautiful Fitz Park. The area itself is very quiet and the off road parking is great with plenty of room for 2 cars. The garden is very dog friendly being secure and with room for a dog to happily play in as well as having good seating for doggy parents. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Overall I am so very impressed with the cottage and can happily give a 5 star rating (it would be more if that were possible). Excellent.

Very dog friendly and Fitz Park a short stroll away for early morning dog walks. We had everything we needed for a lovely stay and look forward to returning.

We had a really lovely week at Holborn Cottage.

The cottage has been renovated to a high standard, with a spacious, sunny and well-equipped kitchen and comfortable and restful bedrooms. The cottage is really well located, in a peaceful setting, yet just a stone's throw from the town centre, Derwentwater and all of the glorious trails. The driveway is a huge bonus. All in all, highly recommended.

The property is very comfortable ,parking is easy and it’s great for either walking out on the hill or into Keswick .

Great location in Keswick, very close to the centre with private parking which is a must for us as on street is so busy.

EV charger was so convenient & easy to use. Gated drive also appreciated with the dog. Small grassed area at the side of the drive. Cottage is really well presented & clean. Lovely big dining kitchen & large utility room - photos don't do it justice. Living room quite small but cosy - only the 2 of us staying, so not really an issue. Upstairs is really spacious - comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. We love Keswick and this was a real find - lucky with some lovely September weather - would definitely book here again.

Lovely cosy two bedroom cottage with off street parking / cottage garden within a few minutes walk of the centre of Keswick.

It was spotlessly clean throughout with a great laundry / boot room and well kitted out kitchen / diner. The lounge could perhaps benefit from privacy blinds and a small table outside with the chairs / bench to put drinks at on. For anyone with a lively dog, the gates are low so they may be able to jump them!

Property is excellent.

Location superb. Cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in. Parking is an absolute bonus. Owners very helpful. Lovely setup upstairs. Large bedroom with dressing room and en-suite separate from other bedroom and bathroom. Would highly recommend property.

We had a fantastic week in Holborn Cottage.

Great situation in the town, off street parking, garden for dogs, and close to all the lovely restaurants. We did lots of walking and eating and didn’t have to move the car. We hope to do the same next year as there is still so much to do.

Great property and location, very well thought out.

The garden does need the soil covering as when it's wet it makes it difficult to keep your dogs clean and prevent soil being walked into the house. I know it's a work in progress though as the owners haven't owned the property long. We'd definitely stay again.
