Fantastic accommodation, lovely cosy house in an ideal location xx only issue is carparking, but there is free parking very close by.

House is fantastic with everything you need for self catering, did have an issue with the heating on first day but they came out and sorted straight away so all good. Would have been nice for fridge to have a freezer compartment but didn't really effect holiday. Overall fantastic little house and will definitely be booking again

Lovely cosy cottage;- there is quiet area to close to the town centre, it gives us comfortable on staying.

Good sleep on comfort bed also good shower, and good kitchen appliances. One thing to say that high seats is slippery and height reduces down needed, about 15cm cut off! Advise to the customers, concerning the narrow lane to the cottages parking. Small cars are suitable not big cars or 4x4 trucks!

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a perfect location.

We had no issues parking on nearby streets a short walk away. Bed was very comfy and the property was warm and toasty. Enjoyed trips out to Wordsworth's childhood home a short drive away in Cockermouth and Hill Top Farm home of Beatrix Potter. Property is literally round the corner from the market square with lots of places to eat and drink, Derwent Water is just a 10 min walk away too. Would highly recommend.

Logs would be nice included for the log burner Decent size wine glasses and champagne flutes would be lovely The downstairs is in need of painting There was dust on the skirting boards on the stairs Some of the glasses were dirty A smart TV is a must to at least access Netflix Tea/coffee sachets would be really nice.

A perfect cosy property ideally situated for rapid access to town and fells.

My mini break was a real tonic and I look forward to returning.

Location perfect 2 min walk to town and 10 min walk to Derwent water. Was left biscuits and milk was a very nice touch.

We had a lovely stay and were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the accommodation and its location.

The tight access to the property for parking was impossible for our Range Rover but we knew this before we arrived as it was mentioned in the arrival email and parked in the long stay car park nearby. Thank-you for the fresh milk and biscuits it was a welcome and kind gesture after a long journey. We’ll be back soon.

Lovely cottage, great location for the centre of Keswick.

The cottage was well equipped & clean & comfy. Couldn’t really fault it. The only downside was the access down the very narrow alley to the property. This was extremely narrow even for my Hyundai i20. However we managed to get in & out with no scrapes. Another unusual thing happened on our first day of arrival. We thought we were left lovely welcome gift of biscuits, milk & wine in the fridge…..only for a man who claimed he was the cleaner to turn up an hour after arrival asking for his wine back??? Luckily we never opened it and we returned it to him, it could have been most embarrassing. Anyway apart from that, Keswick was amazing, the people are super friendly & the weather was extremely hot. Would definitely recommend this cottage, but the advice I would give is to leave the car in the big car parks available.

This was a lovely property to stay in.

Really modern facilities and very comfortable. The only reason we slightly marked down facilities and maintenance is because the bedding and towels had a smell of smoke to them. Not sure if they were transported in a vehicle where someone was smoking but there was definitely a hint of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay for the full duration, having to leave on Tuesday, due to our little girl being poorly but we'd definitely book this property again.

I found the bed a little too firm for me but that’s personal preference but very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again as it’s perfectly situated for the lake and anything else you want to do. Thank you for a lovely weekend spent in the cottage.

The cottage is beautiful it’s warm and immaculately clean, the parking is really useful but the access is very tight, we parked up and left the car for the duration of our stay.

The cottage is ideally located for the centre of Keswick. My only negative is for us the bed was really quite uncomfortable, it’s a very firm mattress which meant we didn’t sleep particularly well, I do appreciate though that this is a personal preference.

Amazing time we have stayed in the cottage 2 doors down as well Fantastic location ideal if you don’t want to use your car I thought the cottage had everything we needed the equipment was new and everything spotless The kitchen area and bathroom were of a high standard and the night lights were a great idea for safety we will definitely come again Alison

two adults (double bed). Clearly recently refurbished, very spic&span; and well-equipped. Location couldn't be better for central Keswick. Parking only suitable for narrow vehicles but once through the alley perfectly good. Had a brilliant stay and would certainly come again!

The cottage itself was perfect in everyway.

We picked jacks cottage because of the location. But when we arrived we couldn't get through the gap we were stuck. The area was blocked with industrial bins. With the help of others staying there, we moved the bins only to find all spaces taken so another struggle to turn round to drive out. We ended up parking in main car park. It was not ideal as have a mobility scooter and really needed on site parking. Lovely cottage but probably can't stay there again because of parking issues.

Parking area and entrance alley difficult to negotiate as it is cluttered with huge industrial waste bins.

Absolutely impossible for a large car.

Lovely stay at Jack's cottage.

Great location for exploring the Lakes! Jack's cottage was clean and very well equipt for cooking. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Good communication and easy to find. Plenty of pubs, cafes and resturants nearby. We were always able to park outside the property accessed down a narrow road. Would highly recommened!

A brilliant new cottage rental with good access to all local amenities and venues.

Thoroughly recommend for those who want a base too walk from or just venture around the lake and enjoy the local hostilary's. 10 out of 10 ....!!

Too warm at night.

Duvet too thick. (That's the only 'minus' for the property.) stairs would be somewhat of a challenge for people with mobility difficulties, especially with the bathroom upstairs!.. very steep. it's well situated. 5 minutes from a bus stop. five minutes from a pub with food and a Costa with Wi fi. Close to the many and varied amenities that this bustling town has to offer. a quiet cul de sac location. short walk to the theatre and Derwent Water. Good ferry services. Well served by buses along Borrowdale. Leave the car on the car park. Save fuel, parking fees and the hassle of finding available spaces at busy times (ie Summer) Lots to see and visit locally by bus.

The house is very well appointed, the bed comfortable, the shower powerful and hot.

Cooking facilities and equipment generally excellent. Given it’s new I’d give the following feedback and hope it’s helpful going forward. Quilt tog of 15 was far too hot even after we turned the radiator off for the following 4 days. A full length mirror in the landing or in bedroom would be useful. Wi-Fi code info needs to be in brochure as would how to open bedroom windows as I didn’t fathom this either. It would be nice to include an initial bag of logs… if you arrive at 4/5 or later it’s not ideal to go looking and a real fire is part of the attraction… or provide for a small charge? A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would be useful… otherwise people will put stuff on window cill and the paint will quickly be marked. Some baking sheets would also be useful … the pie dishes were fine to put things in but again will be marked very quickly … as I found them not easy to get all marks off even with a good dose of elbow grease. There is a leak from next doors waste pipe out the back and this gives a constant slapping sound which is irritating at night. And finally we would suggest being more clear about the tightness of access and egress from the cottage in a medium to large vehicle… we found it a challenge in our Kia Nero especially if the bins are not pulled right in… even worse in the dark. But these did not distract from a great time in a fab location… just might be worth consideration for the future…. We walked everyday from the property without using the car… did cat bells, round the lake, latrigg fell and the railway line to Threlkeld. In the car we went to borrowdale, bassenthwaite, and buttermere. Great hearty food at the dog and gun… goulash is huge! And tasty. Best meal a tFellpack… modern dining. Great selection of beers at the crafty baa.. and very filling sharing platter. Tourist information office full of very helpful staff, ideas for walks and guide maps at £1.25 for about 5/6 walks from the town. Highly recommend a stay. Many thanks
