The front door opens to a spacious hallway with cloakroom cupboard for coats and boots and opens from here to the bright and spacious lounge with a large comfortable sofa and armchairs arranged around the local slate feature fire place with electric fire and large screen TV and also offering beautiful views from the corner window across the fields to the northern fells.
From here step through to the dining room with large family dining table which will no doubt play host to many an evening of good food and great company.
Beyond the dining room the sun room with rattan chairs opens directly on to the patio and the garden.
The inner hallway runs along the ground floor to the small reading room overlooking the garden, ideal to retreat to with the weekend papers, a good book, to check your emails or do your homework!.
Also on the ground floor are two of the three bedrooms.
Both rooms overlook the garden and can be presented either as king size double rooms or twin rooms (please specify when booking) and these are complemented just across the hallway, by the family shower room with large shower, basin and WC.
Stairs lead to the first floor master bedroom with double bed, views to Skiddaw, one of the Lake District's highest mountains that dominates the skyline above the town, and ensuite shower room with shower basin and WC.
To the rear of the property there is a large lawned garden, ideal for the kids to play, patio and a family picnic table.
To the front of the property there is ample parking for three cars.
The pet friendly owners welcome two well behaved dogs and have thoughtfully provided a specially built dog shower.
The garage is available for the secure storage of mountain bikes, canoes and other outdoor gear.
