“This spacious detached property with an enclosed huge garden was absolutely perfect for the family and our 2 Springer spaniels.”

The location of the property was ideal. We have stayed in the lake district twice every year for about 7 years with my family and this property met all our needs.

La'al Field House is a much loved family home that is now being offered as a great holiday home within walking distance of the bustling market square and just across the road from the former Cumberland Pencil Mill and its famous Pencil Museum! This larger than average family home offers plenty of space for everyone to relax, a large garden, views to the surrounding fells and just a few minutes from all the town's amenities. Primarily laid out over the ground floor La'al Field House briefly comprises of a bright and spacious sitting room, large family dining room, a well equipped kitchen with utility area, sun room and reading room. Two bedrooms and the family shower room are located on the ground floor whilst the only room upstairs is the master bedroom with an ensuite shower room. The busy market square in the centre of the popular town of Keswick is just a five minutes' walk away and offers a fantastic array of cafes, bars and local restaurants along with a great range of local shops and the very popular, award winning weekly market selling a fantastic selection of local produce, handicrafts and much, much more. == Accommodation in detail The front door opens to a spacious hallway with cloakroom cupboard for coats and boots and opens from here to the bright and spacious lounge with a large comfortable sofa and armchairs arranged around the local slate feature fire place with electric fire and large screen TV and also offering beautiful views from the corner window across the fields to the northern fells. From here step through to the dining room with large family dining table which will no doubt play host to many an evening of good food and great company. Beyond the dining room the sun room with rattan chairs opens directly on to the patio and the garden. The inner hallway runs along the ground floor to the small reading room overlooking the garden, ideal to retreat to with the weekend papers, a good book, to check your emails or do your homework!. Also on the ground floor are two of the three bedrooms. Both rooms overlook the garden and can be presented either as king size double rooms or twin rooms (please specify when booking) and these are complemented just across the hallway, by the family shower room with large shower, basin and WC. Stairs lead to the first floor master bedroom with double bed, views to Skiddaw, one of the Lake District's highest mountains that dominates the skyline above the town, and ensuite shower room with shower basin and WC. To the rear of the property there is a large lawned garden, ideal for the kids to play, patio and a family picnic table. To the front of the property there is ample parking for three cars.
