This tall end of terrace cottage is full of character and charm with a comfortable living room with cosy log fire and family dining table, a well equipped kitchen, a choice of two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom and a family shower room and complemented by a courtyard patio where you can sit in the sun with a glass of fizz or a morning coffee. Within easy reach of the great selection of local restaurants, bars and cafes and, of course, the award winning twice weekly market and a great selection of local shops you will immediately feel at home. The shores of Derwentwater are just ten minutes' walk away and there is a fantastic selection of walks to choose from including gentle walks along the lake shore, walks to popular Ashness Bridge and Surprise view or the nearby Castlerigg Stone Circle or those seeking out the high fells will head to the summit of Latrigg and Skiddaw that dominate the towns skyline and mountain bikers will enjoy the award winning Altura Trails in Whinlatter Forest == Accommodation in detail Little Leveret is located in a quite side road in the Victorian part of Keswick close to the Market Square and Fitz Park. The front door opens to a small porch before you step inside the welcoming living room.

Furnished to the highest standard the comfortable sofa and relaxing armchairs are arranged around a cosy log burning stove and the TV.

Original and commissioned artwork adorn the room, a feature being the imposing image above the fire that catches everyone's eye; one of the Queen's Highland Cattle from her estate at Balmoral!

To the corner of the room the family dining table is just the place to plan your day over breakfast or to relax and socialise in the evening over dinner with friends. To the rear of the cottage there is a lovely, bright, kitchen with shaker style cabinets, quality appliances and well equipped with everything you could need from preparing breakfast to having a “Masterchef” moment, complete with electric hob and double oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer drier, Tassimo coffee machine, blender and food mixer. The bedrooms are on the first and the second floor and care should be taken on the narrow staircase, which some guests may find a little steep.

The bedroom on the first floor is a beautiful dual aspect room with a welcoming and comfortable double bed and across the landing there is a smart family shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC.

Continue up to the second floor and the owners have created a superb bedroom suite with king size bed (this can be made up as a twin beds if you prefer – please specify when booking) and superb ensuite with compact bath with shower over, basin and WC. To the side of the property there is a courtyard patio which is a real sun trap and offers the outdoor option when it comes to morning coffe or evening drinks.

With the archway to the rear courtyard the owners have added secure cycle brackets for guests to use to store mountain bikes and there is space also for a couple of canoes. Please note- Our neighbours at the back have a right of way to access their property through our patio and gate.

They both run guest houses and are very happy to chat to visitors.

They have a collie dog which is always on the lead when it comes through.

They will announce themselves if your dog is loose as the collie is not always sure around other dogs. Location Keswick is one of the Lake District's most popular destinations.

This friendly town hosts the very popular twice weekly market that has recently won the coveted “Best Outdoor Market” in the Great British Market Awards.

The village also offers a fantastic array of shops offering everything from craft bakeries and local produce, antiques, crafts and much, much more. If you are looking for somewhere to eat and drink, a week just won't be long enough to sample the great range of pubs, restaurants, bistros, cafes and wine bars!

For a great evening out why not visit the 100 year old Alhambra offering first class cinema entertainment in traditional surroundings or enjoy an evening at “the most beautiful and friendly theatre in Britain”, the 400 seat Theatre By The Lake on the shores of Derwentwater. Enjoy a cruise on Derwentwater, walk onto the fells; Cat Bells, Skiddaw, Coledale Horeshoe and Blencathra are all nearby, head underground at Honister Slate Mines, enjoy mountain biking in Whinlatter Forest.
