Middletown

Thank you for your valuable feedback on your recent stay at Middletown. I am glad that you were comfortable during your stay although sorry to hear that you didn’t feel that it was a perfect stay - this is what we really strive for. We value feedback and try to rectify anything we possibly can so allow me to reference your points here to show what we can seek to do to improve; Parking - recognising this is an ongoing issue we do make a sizeable investment in an annual parking permit to locate a vehicle in the nearby Keswick main car park. When more than one vehicle is involved we do appreciate this is then a matter of sourcing local street parking which can be a little difficult to find. Part of this challenge is subject to the nature and associated compromise of the magical location of the property being right in the heart of Keswick. We will look to see if we can better communicate which adjacent streets offer free parking more visibly within the property. Heating - This can be simply adjusted by guests to boost the temperature, so we will look to better communicate this. Sadly because the property is a listed and historical property, whilst secondary glazing would be ideal, it is not allowable, hence it is naturally a little less insulated than equivalent modern properties. Coffee Machine & Microwave- We understand what you are saying and will look to source and replace these respectively. Again - thank you for providing your feedback on the property during your stay which we will be acting on and would love to welcome you back to the property to stay again in the near future.
