“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Noble Knott.”

It was warm and comfortable. Everything worked. The location was quiet but it was less than 15 minutes walk into Keswick centre. We will probably book this place again.

The property

Noble Knott is a lovely semi-detached bungalow situated in the heart of Keswick, a popular Lake District tourist destination.

Noble Knott is a tranquil starting point for all of your Lakes excursions, ideal for groups of friends or family looking for a much-needed respite from everyday life.

In the living room, you'll find a warming electric fireplace and sofas to sink into, as well as a television with Freeview , perfect for snuggling up in front of after a day of exploring the Fells.

Move through to the well-appointed kitchen, which has been fitted with wooden cabinets and a variety of appliances, such as an electric oven, a gas hob with microwave, a fridge/freezer, and a handy washing machine for your convenience.

During the warmer months, you can dine indoors at the dining table for four or, if you prefer, outside in the lovely garden on the patio furniture.

With a heated towel rail and an attractively tiled shower, a well-appointed bathroom awaits to help you freshen up at the end of the day.

The twin bedroom is located across the hall, while the second and final bedroom is a double, both of which have beautiful views of the surrounding greenery.

Keswick town centre is just a short walk away, and the town's Market Square is home to an ever-changing array of independent shops, restaurants, and pubs, not to mention a weekly farmers' market held there twice a week.

Ghyll scrambling, kayaking, and canoeing are just some of the watersports that can be enjoyed on the nearby Derwentwater Lake, which is just a short distance away from the town of Keswick.

Derwent Pencil Museum tells the story of how the discovery of black lead in the area sparked a boom in the town's pencil-making industry, while Puzzling Place is a strange and fascinating place full of optical illusions. Near to Keswick are two of the Lake District's best and largest peaks: Skiddaw and Blencathra, both of which can be tackled by hikers who will be rewarded with breathtaking views from the summit.

Newlands Valley is located between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and Bassenthwaite Lake is just a short drive away.

For a memorable Lake District getaway, choose Noble Knott.
