Apartment was wonderful with fantastic views, and in a great location for accessing Keswick and local walks.

Nice towels. Well equipped kitchen. The only downside was tight parking - which was fine on this occasion as there were accommodating ( and careful) neighbours.

Overall we found Riverside Park 5 to be extremely comfortable, very well equipped, clean, spacious and relaxing, especially when sitting and viewing the river in the morning.

The kitchen was very well equipped for meal preparation, the living room coaches were comfortable, the beds were excellent and the upstairs games room was a relaxing space, great for exercising, reading, etc. The location is really perfect - it’s just a 5 minute walk to the shops and other attractions, yet the unit is on a quiet street. Just a couple of housekeeping things to address. First, the freezer component of the refrigerator was so fully frosted it was almost unusable, so needs some attention. Second, the kitchen tap has a small drip so also needs to be looked at. Everything else was good. Also, a couple of things to be aware of: the parking spaces are very tight, so better to have a small car, and Riverside 5 is on the top floor, so you need to haul your bags up two levels of steps. In summary, we loved the apartment and would definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay as always however, an issue with the cleaning staff on departing was frustrating.

Our son had woken up feeling poorly with sickness and tummy ache. We were aware we had to be out for 10 but our main concern was that our son was OK. I didn't appreciate at all the tone of the male staff member who came to our door, tapped his wrist and said you're supposed to be out by 10. Even when I explained our situation he had no regard for us at all. Very unprofessional. We managed to make it out for 1030 but felt very rushed without any empathy at all for our situation.

We loved our February stay at Riverside Park 5: in the winter we like to have somewhere we can spend some time in if the weather's too bad for walking, and that's exactly what we got.

Comfortable, clean, spacious, well-maintained, a lovely welcome pack, the most comfortable beds we've slept in for ages (I'm going to ask the owner about the mattresses!), and when we had a slight (self-inflicted) issue, the owner got in touch early the next morning with a solution. We'll be back!

Riverside Park 5 is a very comfortable flat for four adults with two double beds, one being on suite.

It is very well equipped with modern appliances. The open plan kitchen/living space is very spacious with plenty of room, and different places to sit. There is a balcony and a floor to ceiling window looking out over Fitz Park. It is situated within a five minuet walk to Keswick town centre, with plenty of pubs, shops and places to eat on your doorstep. The only criticism would be the concrete external stairway to access the building, was very poorly lit in the dark. Each flat has an external light, but the individual occupants can turn them off.

The most perfect week!

This was the cleanest & nicest holiday let we have stayed in. The place was spotless, warm, so well equipped with everything & the location perfect . The housekeeper & owner obviously really care. To find a housekeeper that cleans to this standard is rare, so a huge shout her to her. We can't wait to return!

Another lovely holiday in No 5, so clean and comfortable, much enhanced by the new interior, so much cosier and a tasty welcome pack!

The only improvement would be a power shower in the en suite.

Stayed before as good as ever, great location, high quality accommodation, everything you need to make it feel like home from home.

Few minutes walk into the town where there are plenty of good quality restaurants and pubs. Plenty of walks from the door, from easy to hard.

Fabulous property to a very high standard and in the best location.

A lovely property.

One problem, for us, the large sofa is very low which is so uncomfortable for bad backs and poorly hips. I could not sit on it and adopted one of the chairs in the window with the addition of a pillow behind me, not ideal but bearable. Unfortunately because of this we will not be returning but it would be nice if details like this were considered when purchasing seating, we are not all fit young things despite loving walking in the Lakes. That aside, a lovely airy apartment, easy to keep cool in the recent very hot weather.

Once again enjoyed our stay - a very good apartment with good facilities - disappointed that the leaking radiator in bathroom was still leaking when we left - should be able to sort it out in a week.

Perhaps think about a CD player in the apartment would have liked to be able to play some music. Other downside is the outside of the apartments flaking plaster on the walls not a good look. Not to lessen our enjoyment in the appt would certainly use again

Washing machine broken for the entire week.

I was told a new machine was on order. Never arrived. Had to wash clothes by hand which is not acceptable. Work bench is still damaged. No instructions for heating system.

Loved the apartment, light, great views near the centre of town and very well equipped and designed with top of the range kit definitely a stay to be repeated.

Lovely flat, clean, comfortable, well equipped and the mezzanine was very cozy when it was very cold outside.

One of the best self-catering places we have stayed. One minor point is that when it gets very cold the outside stairs are exposed and slippy.

Very well equipped, but it would benefit from bedside drawers instead of small tables as there is very little drawer space in the en suite bedroom.

We have stayed in Riverside Apartments for the past six or seven years in apartment 3 and 4.

This apartment number 5 is undoubtedly the best of them all. Well furnished, well equipped, absolutely stunning. The vaulted ceiling with skylights and the mirror wall gave the whole apartment a feeling of light and spaciousness. The mezzanine small lounge with comfortable reading chairs enabled us to make different choices and gave us all extra space.

Excellent holiday flat.

Clean and well equipped. Brilliant location close to town centre. Also overlooking the river so great for sitting on the balcony morning and evening. Overall a wonderful place to spend a holiday.

The pint of milk left in the fridge, the plum cake and Victoria sponge cake left on the bench we thought was a lovely touch

We have stayed in Flat 5 for nearly 10 years.

The welcome pack was a nice new touch and the upholstery and carpet upgrades welcome. We are curious as to why Sky tv could not be available , I have tried my own Sky tv card but it appears not to work. Otherwise lovely apartment and excellent location as usual.

We loved the apartment and will definitely visit again.

It’s exactly as described and so central.

Despite me reporting a window problem the first day, this was never resolved, despite several updates saying it was going to be.

In addition, there are several small problems, which we have seen on previous visits; Main window blind is broken, so cannot be tilted. Main bathroom toilet flush has a problem with overflow. TV setup is not adequate. Only a few channels available, virtually unwatchable. Despite this, it’s a wonderful apartment, but needs tlc to keep it to its high standard.

FIRST LET ME SAY THAT WE'VE BEEN STAYING IN THIS PROPERTY FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS NOW AND HAVE BOOKED AGAIN FOR 2022, SO OVERALL WE'RE VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

THERE ARE, HOWEVER, A NUMBER OF ISSUES THAT COULD BE IMPROVED OR UPDATED IN ORFER TO JUSTIFY IT'S 5* RATING, THE FIRST BEING THE INSTALLATION OF A POWER SHOWER IN THE EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM PARTICULARLY (THE PRESENT SHOWER IS PRETTY FEEBLE). SECONDLY A BIT MORE STORAGE WOULD BE NICE IN THE RIVERSIDE BEDROOM, THE BEDSIDE TABLES COULD BE CHANGED TO PROVIDE SOME EXTRA DRAWERS. FINALLY THE BLIND IN THE LOUNGE NEEDS REPLACING AS THE CONTROL ROD IS BROKEN. HOPE THIS HELPS.
