Style Cottage

We had a fabulous week staying at Style Cottage, having also stayed here last year.

It is well equipped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We love visiting the Lake District annually and have booked the cottage again for next year.

Fantastic cottage in a perfect Keswick location!

We had a fantastic stay at Style Cottage and would definitely recommend it. The location is brilliant – you can be at Keswick centre square under 5 minutes of leaving the cottage. We found unloading and loading the car outside the cottage no issue at all. We parked at Lakeside car park, which has a handy cut-through making it less than a 5-minute walk back to the cottage. We stayed with our dog and although the garden is shared with the other holiday cottages, we never found this to be an issue at all. The cottage itself is just as good as it looks in the pictures and has everything you could need for either a weekend break or a full week in the Lakes. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked Style Cottage again for next year, which probably says it all!

Beautifully finished and everything needed for a perfect stay, the owners have really created something special here. If you are thinking of staying close to Keswick this little gem would be hard to beat. Certainly would stay again.

Lovely cottage , clean and tidy . Amazing comfortable bed , and the shower Is so powerful after days out doing Wainwrights. You are only 0.1 mile from the pub and shopping in the heart of Keswick is great with a market runs twice a week . There is a shared garden which we found ok and no problem from other people that were using for the dogs last wee on an evening. Tea and coffee was a help and biscuits too . And again we have booked yet again for next year but thought we would try May time next year as it was very busy. TVs in the cottage are fab too but you are really tired to watch something after walking. Highly recommended this cottage .

Perfect location!

The owner was very helpful when resolving an issue we had with parking permit. Cottage was situated a minutes walk from edge of a lovely town with good pubs, eateries and shops. Less than ten minutes walk to the breathtaking Derwent water with magnificent walks and views, our dog loved it. Views were amazing!! The bed was extremely comfortable with a very good shower. We'd have no hesitation in returning to Style Cottage.

Perfectly located - close enough to town but in a lovely quiet lane, and only a few minutes walk from Derwentwater. The car parking permit is so handy and convenient. The cottage itself is lovely, well equipped and comfy. Our dog loved the enclosed garden but wasn't overjoyed with the handy dog-bath (although we were!) Hard to fault and Gill is so lovely and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Style cottage has been beautifully renovated to a high standard.

Very cosy and perfect for 2 and a dog. The parking permit allows choice of where to leave the car all car parks in easy walking distance. Lots of walks, pubs, shops and places to eat. Would highly recommend this lovely cottage.

The location was absolutely perfect being right in the centre of Keswick and parking was very straightforward. The cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our visit. We would definitely visit again!

We loved everything about Style Cottage.

Gorgeously presented. Amazingly located. Moments from town and yet so quiet. And a very short walk to the beautiful Derwentwater. Lovely bathtub and shower. Wonderful, big, comfy bed. Thoughtful details like firewood and biscuits for some comfort after a walk. Great communication with owner. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely week in Style Cottage, centrally located but very quiet.

The owners have taken great care and love in renovating the property, with tasteful and good quality furnishings etc. Very clean, very comfortable, lovely super king bed and a brilliant utility/boot room that leads into a small enclosed rear garden. We were able to leave the car all week and just walk from the door. Good eating places and cafes literally two minutes walk away. When we arrived the outside dustbin was overflowing and didn’t get emptied throughout our stay, maybe got overlooked.

It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable for 2 people and a dog. The location is great and only a few minutes walk into the town centre. We have booked to stay again next year....that's how much we enjoyed our stay.

Wow what a little Gem , so impressed with the cottage we booked again for 2026.

Every thing you needed was in the cottage from the welcome pack to the boot room with your own dog wash ( which we didn’t need as no rain at all ) The shower was amazing, the bed was so comfortable. Little shared back garden for those last night quick wee ( The dog )

Had a wonderful stay cottage has everything you need for your stay (shower is amazing) it’s so close to all amenities and complimentary wine on arrival which was unexpected but a wonderful touch and well enjoyed after a long days travel we could not have asked for more.

We stayed for a week and it was absolutely gorgeous - so wonderful in fact that we booked to go back just days after we left.

So close to amenities and a very short walk into the centre of Keswick town. The perfect spot. 100% recommend! If it’s available, go for it!

The cottage has everything you need and is so stylish! The bed was so comfy. The location is great, right in the centre of Keswick so all amenities are on your doorstep. Having parking in the local car parks included was a great bonus. We visit Keswick multiple times a year and would definitely return to Style cottage. Thank you for a lovely break!

We found Style cottage was everything we needed, comfortable throughout.

Situated in an ideal location for the town of Keswick. Just one small issue, I had to move the crockery around in the cupboards to be able to put our food stuff away, otherwise everything was good for us to enjoy our holiday. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Style Cottage was perfect for us and our dog to explore the northern Lakes.

The kitchen/living area was perfect and really cosy with a well equipped kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom were both really lovely and comfy with a great shower and bath. And the boot room with the dog wash was just incredible to leave all our wet gear to dry and to clean the dog after our walks. The parking permit that comes with the booking made parking for the week a doddle and the location was so convenient. Less than 1 minute walk into the centre of Keswick. We will definitely be coming back here.

Cottage is beautiful but the standard of cleaning was not as expected.

Hairs in the bath, marks in the toilet and the toilet brush and holder were disgusting. Chips left in the freezer. A very stingy amount of wood left for the 1st night. Nice mod cons and beautiful interior brick work. The facilities for your dog is amazing.

Perfect for a few days exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We had a great holiday in our favourite place!

Lovely cottage, very cosy and great location. One downfall, no cleaning products provided at all other than some washing up liquid. We had to go out and buy cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom, these have always been provided in all the other cottages we have stayed in. There was a welcome pack - nice wine - thank you - however the milk was all out of date. Great cottage, great location just a shame let down by a few issues that could simply be avoided. One thing that the cottage would benefit from is a hairdryer! Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay.

The cottage was cosy, welcoming and warm, as well as being clean and tidy. The bottle of wine was a nice touch; thank you! The location was fabulous for exploring the town and lake, and close to Dodd Wood, which was so pretty and peaceful. We would definitely return and recommend it to others.

A beautiful cosy cottage very close to all amenities and very well decorated and very comfortable.

The dog bath and boot room were a godsend when we were there as it was very wet. The only thing that disappointed us was the lack of cleaning products in the kitchen. So for our very short stay we had to buy washing up liquid, cleaning spray, toilet roll etc. This surprised us as we have never had to do this in any rental. But apart from that it was perfect. Lovely accommodation in super location.

Exactly as shown in the pictures, everything you needed for your stay was there. Given we went at the beginning of December, the Christmas decorations made it feel even more special. Would love to visit again but looking at dates, this beautiful cottage looks to be in very high demand. Thank you so much.

It’s right in the centre of Keswick but so quiet and peaceful. Left a ring there by accident and the owner was really helpful in getting it sent it back to me. Thank you Gill, we will be back!

Lovely cottage, a stones throw from the centre but also on a quiet road with little noise.

The cottage itself if well equipped and the dog bath downstairs was great! The bed was unbelievably comfortable which was a blessing for sore muscles! A tumble dryer would be great as we had to use the radiators for drying even though it was mildish outside but this isn’t a major issue. Overall a lovely cottage perfect for a couple and our 2 Dachshunds loved it also. We’re going to visit again!

The cottage was superb, very cosy and dog friendly.

The location was ideal for both walking into the hills and around town. The only setback was the lack of parking next to the cottage. Apart from this, we had an amazing time and would fully recommend.

Style Cottage is beautiful throughout, tastefully decorated and was very clean.

Felt so homely! Comfortable bed and an amazing shower. perfect location for us as we love Keswick and the surrounding areas, near to a bus stop so didn't use the car all week, and plenty of beautiful walks from the doorstep. Loved that is was so close to the town centre and Derwentwater but tucked away in the nice and quiet. Can't wait to return.....thank you!

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful cottage.

Its was so warm and comfortable. Excellently located close to Keswick centre with easy parking. We will definitely look to come back again. One slight mix up/issue. On the day of leaving the cleaners arrived at 10am however the email details we had from Sykes said to leave by 11am. We were nearly all packed and then we were about to give the place a clean ourselves, but couldn't. There seems to be a miscommunication somewhere if the emails from Sykes are saying to leave at 11am but cleaner's are arriving at 10am.

Beautifully fitted . Everything you could need and more ! Comfy bed, lovely bedding , lovely bathroom with shower and bath. Large tv in sitting room and bedroom . Pretty sitting room with wood burner. The basement even has a dog washing unit and washing machine . Can’t wait to return x

Me, my husband and my 2 dogs had the immense pleasure of being the first people to stay in Style Cottage.

What a wonderful cottage it is and such a great week we had. The cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. I absolutely loved the decor, so beautifully presented and the stone wall from top to bottom was so rustic and perfectly suited to the cottage. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with a great shower and bath. The muddy paws and boots room was a brilliant idea, particularly the huge metal dog shower unit. We could properly clean our dogs before entering the main house. The garden was also lovely and great for the dogs. I can't praise this beautiful home from home enough and we will most definitely be booking again
